Ordered one of these bad boys the other day. They sure are the best looking CAI's out there by far, can't wait!:rock:

yep:rock::rock:

love mine:rock::rock:

simple can be the best:rock::rock:

You need the radiator pipes as well. Really cleans it up.

It is a good looking CAI, what kind of gains does JMB claim and how does it compare to the Volant system?

people are gonna chime in and say one or the other but the truth is when it comes to a ram air setup or even a regular cai there is no proper way to do a dyno test because nothing simulates air flow like driving them

what is that? a red wrinkle finish to match the valve covers?

Good point, I know Volant claims (I think) 36 RWHP and was just curious how JMB's system compares because I haven't really looked into it yet. I had made up my mind that when I get my 10 that I was going to use the Volant over K&N's system but I want to consider all options that are available.

all the dyno folks say a "ram air" system will not start "workin" till bout 40 m.p.h.

so i guess a dyno in a wind tunnel would be the only way to tell

Volant was crap and looks bad. I ended up giving mine away for free and replaced it with JMBs CAI.
It has been proven that the scoop actually draws air out of the engine bay.

ive had both a mopar cai w/0 ram air and a volant ram air set up and the only thing i care about is numbers.....i had a 3mph increase in my trap speed and a full 1/10 off my time with the ram air compared to the standard intake...is it ugly yes but all i care about is performance so i can live with it

sweet!!! just put my intake manifold back on. just waiting for the CAI and catch can.

Ok I already knew SRT designed it with cooling purposes in mind but with the ram air intake installed wouldn't it block off the scoop from the inside and not allow air out? Obviously this would raise underhood temps but couldn't you use the JTS venom hood with the additional vents to the side of the scoop to counteract that?
