My 10 was rolled while on test drive at the mechanics. Both occupants are safe, which does speak to the ability of this cab to keep the folks inside safe, even with near 3 tons of metal on it. The roof is caved in, all 4 doors and all glass is gone. Bed has dents, but somehow the front clip is untouched, included the Venom hood. Truck caught loose mud on side of road, was almost stopped, but had just enough momentum to roll over. They knew the engine very well and turned it off prior to the truck actually rolling, so it was not running while on its back. I went to see it on Monday, made my stomach turn. I am completely heartbroken about this. I could not have made the 10 what it was without lots of great information, parts, support from the good people on this site.

My insurance and theirs are working out the details, but a couple guys at the body shop said it is likely to be totalled. I should have first refusal salvage rights, or at least so I am told. I have had to do a lot of soul searching in the past couple days, but will likely have to move to something else that will work a bit better with the family picture at this point.

Here is the the stuff in my signature, plus a few other items I can think of at the moment. Basically all of it is new, only been on the truck a few months. Will have to see what insurance reports back, but wanted to make this known in case anyone is interested in it. It has a lot of good stuff that could be used on another 10.

689rwhp/654rwtq, 05 QC, Paxton, stock pulleys, X-metal heat exchanger, upgraded pump, Frozen Boost Intercooler, ported BBK TB, heads ported by yours truly, stock valves, 3 angle, Tony's valve springs, pushrods, coils, & wires, extrude honed/port matched intake, ARP head studs, Cometic gaskets, 1.75" long tube American Racing Headers (Swaintech White Lightning coating), 3" dual exhaust, Dynomax mufflers, 170 stat, Roe dual Walbro in-tank pumps, 69# injectors, Snow Water/meth, 225 jet. 9.3CR. SCT tuning by Torrie and Monty. Caltracs, Addco sway bar front, Rear sway bar, steering/A-arm/leaf spring bushings, Caltracs. JMB rear battery tray, JMB short sway bar end links. Double deep tranny pan. Venom hood, painted all black. ARE bedcover, remote lock. Venom powersteering lines, oil lines. Five Speed hut SRT Gauges. 55w Bixenon (work both hi and low beams) HID headlights, black/clear headlights.

Sadly,

Bryan

Sorry to hear and you make damn sure they reimburse you for every penny plus some for taking a rare made truck outta the picture.
I am interested in many of the parts you have so please keep me at the head of the list when you find out the buy back on the salvaged truck.

Really does suck to hear. Wonder if they have video to add to the other YOUTUBE sensation? :elefant:

Thats crazy. Sorry to hear that, that garage should be building you a new 10 the way your old one was. I'd be some pi$$ed off

Sorry about the truck. At least everyone is safe and the details are being worked out.

omg , that's fking dumb of those mechanics.
they must have drove it hard imho...

thats why u should test drive it by yourselfs , most mechanics dont know how to drive a Ram SRT10 , i drive it now for 3 years and if i go wot , it still is very surprising how these beasts go...;)

good luck dude...:dontknow:

WOW!! Pissed wouldnt even begin to start the anger I would have if someone did that to my truck!!!! The MECHANIC SHOULD write you a cheque!!!

That would piss me off soooo bad! You are much calmer than I would be! Good luck with the whole situation.

Sorry to hear this, I dont know how you stayed calm enough to only be pissed. I would of torn the guys head off.

I'm sorry for your loss, you are a better man than me because my wife have to post bail after I beat the crap out of the mechanics. If you part her out i'm interested in the caltrac suspension parts.

Sorry to hear about the loss man. I always make them put no test drive on the work order just for this reason.

I would want the caltracs if you get them off the truck.
