11.99 finally!!!

Outstanding Justin!!!!! I'm really happy for you. Most guys on here don't knoe the feeling to crack a huge barrier like 12.00, Congrats again. My next big barrier 11.51....gotta get the NA crown back.
Thanks, I'm slowly trying to catch back up. Still need to get it to hook up a little better but only getting 2 passes a night doesn't give me much time to figure it out
My next barrier is 6.50 in the 1/8th. Thats gonna be a tough one.
Good luck man, .3 in the 1/8 mile is gonna be insanely hard, esp at the level your already at.

How did you get the skinnys to work? And what kind of rear rims are those or the specs? That is exactly the set up I'm looking for but don't want to just buy rims and hope they will work.
none of the rims on my truck just bolted on. The rear rims are 16x10 procomp extreme alloys, to get them to fit you have to grind the rear calipers down. The fronts are 15x3.5 weld. Prostars, I use a 1.5" thick adapter to get them to clear front calipers. I still had to grind on them a little but not much

:rock::burnout::rock::burnout:

what hyd. ya use with the Spec???

never mind, lmao:D

Thanks. I'm more interested in the rears than anything. I really am trying not to grind lol. I may give up soon though. Im just looking for some type of crappy ol 17's for the track.

Did you take a picture of the calipers or adapters while fitting? Do you still have the stock rear end?

I saw on a previous post where you mentioned launching at 5k. I've got 39k miles on my stock clutch and I could tell it was at its limit with a 1.91 on streets, but on my 05 it did a 1.79. A spec clutch is next, but I was still concerned about grenading this rear end with slicks. However you are deadly consistent and everytime you go to he track your personal best. I don't want to good for the goose good for the gander this situation, just adding statistics.

Still on the stock rear end, I have cryo'd spiders somewhere around the house. Most people that have rear end trouble are running heavily modded trucks or spraying hard out of the hole. I'm not saying it won't break but I'm not overly concerned about it.

Good job on 11's! and you'll only get quicker :)

Thanks man, hope to get to the track and at least back it up with another 11

Congrats on the run

Very cool! I know you have worked diligently to get there.

Do you have pictures of your weight reduction in the bumpers?

No pictures, but all I did was unbolt them and set them behind my shed. Then fabbed up some alum brackets to hold the front and rear bumper covers on. Still need to get out there and remount the fog lights but I been too busy playing to do any more work:D

Congrats bro! I know its the little things that add up, but I was just wondering if you noticed a difference with the Fidanza flywheel? I think I read on hear that its 18lbs lighter than the factory one. That seems like a sh*t load of rotating mass to cut out!

Great work, I know how good it feels to break that barrier, I battled it with my srt4 for 6+ months!

people that dont know cars think that 11-12 sec 1/4 miles are nothing....but we all know it takes a lot to take a 13sec stocker and get her into the 11s....great job hopefully i'll be there in a yr

Way to go Justin!!!!!
Thanks man, hoping to get into the 11.70's this fall when the weather gets cool.

Yes I did, and I have not noticed any of the negitave side affects some people complained about while driving in parking lots.

Thanks, now I'm gonna tear into the rear suspension, I've got to get it to hook up better.
