Mutt is an old member and a great friend to many of us. His Dad, Fred Bennett, passed away last nite at the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tn. Fred was a good friend to many of us also. I really do not know a lot about it except he had been having serious problems for several years. Mutt you have our prayers Buddy and Fred I am sure you are in a better place.

i remember Mutt bringing his dad with him to several gtg in FL at my sons house talked to Fred several times R I P Fred my thoughts are with you Mutt

Very sorry to hear this Mutt,your dad was a very good man it was a pleasure to know him.
 
I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. As most know I have been taking care of my father for the last 5 or so years. He was my dad, and he was also my best friend. His passing has been pretty hard on me, but along with the pain felt with his passing, I am also experiencing joy as I just found out I will be a Granddaddy again.

Rest in Peace Pops, your pain has finally ended.
