I think I have my stock wheels sold and want to put on chrome replica's. Where is the best place to buy chrome wheels. How well do they hold up? Every time i have a tire changed or repaired my wheel gets damaged, I'm hoping the chrome wheel wont scar as easy.

i bought the 22" replicas and power coated them gloss black. Mounted tires on them then a week later mouted different tires and they hold up greats

I would keep the OE's and get them chromed. I've seen a few replicas and they looked really cheap. And if your tire shop jacks up your wheels, I'd make them replace it. That happened to me earlier this year. The first tire the guy tried to change resulted in scrapes and gouges along the entire circumference of the wheel -- it looked nasty... The shop tried to pawn off a replica wheel to me. No dice on that -- the replica wasn't close to the OE style and finish. They finally bit the bullet and gave me a OE replacement. Also, I'd be leary of any replica wheel and it's durability. Becareful as well, all the replicas I've seen are cast not forged.

The tire store discounted price of tires but not enough to pay what it cost to get wheels repaired. I just want people to be honest. One of my employees was at the tire store on other business and watched his guy scratch the wheel. When I dropped off the wheels I had asked the owner if he would oversee the mounting.I bought a used wheel in great shape (Was going to used damaged one as spare) I inspected it myself and took to tire store. 20 minutes later I get a call "This wheel was scratched before we started on it" .I get to the tire store and the wheel is on the machine with a scratch and the owner standing over it with a blank look saying "It was like that when we took it out of box" BS
I have my wheels sold is why I 'm not getting them chromed.

It sounds like you're dealing with a tire shop who is incompetent. In my case I stood over them like a hawk. Even when they damaged my wheel. I knew what was going to happen but I gave the tech the benefit of the doubt that he knew what he was doing... Unfortunately, he messed up my wheel pretty bad. The manager was good about the incident and I kept my cool and worked with them to right the wrong. They stood up and did the right thing -- no argument there. I would still stick with OE wheels - IMO replicas are just that...

There is a place in LA that I bought my chrome OEM (not replicas) wheels from. Its called LA Wheel and Tire, they will send you the new set and you send back your stock wheels. A new set of chrome OEM wheels will run you around 3500.00. Cost for these is right at 1100.00 with exchange, so far I'm extemely happy and they look great. Here's the link- L.A. Wheel and Tire. Hope this helps bro.

Thanks I'll look them up. New tires came in yesterday.

factory reproductions = made in china. They will not be straight (need lot of lead to get them balanced properly) and the chrome is not ever lasting (don't know if they use salt on your roads during winter time ?)

Other than that, good price/quality ratio. I think they go arround 250 us /wheel on ebay.

Whatever happended to made in good old USA..instead of crap flooding our shores.
