If a dealer has it, I assume he traded it in on something. Sorry to see it go. Tinygiants seemed like a really cool guy to have around.

Does anyone know if he ever ran his truck down the strip?

Always sad to see someone spend so much money and time on a truck then sell it not long after.
I'm sure he had his reasons and I'm sure he would have replaced it with a new beast, wonder what! :D

Carl, how does your truck perform with the 4L80E compared to the T56?

I did sell it. I had to. Every time I turned around it was another $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 repair. I just could not keep doing it. I was paying alot of money for something I could not drive more than half the year. With my family obligations I decided I was better off financially without it, if I wanted to drive something nice. So I sold it and then bought a porsche. My gas mileage is doubled and I drive it daily even in the rain. If I won the lottery, I would search it out and buy it back though.

Without a doubt, it's increased performance. ;) I thought and I could bang cogs with the best of them and still do but this custom built 1200hp Carl Rossler race trans is UNREAL. I would have gained probably a good second overall in the 1/4 and 0-60mph, mainly off the launch and also getting firm race tire chirping shifts each and EVERY time. Simple maths really, look how well the QCs do, it's the same principle, just in a smaller and lighter RC. Plus I get to cruise in trafic and whenever I choose and still maintain full manual shift control. They should have done it from the factory. Easily the best mod I've made to The Batram. As you can tell, I LOVE it hahahaha. :burnout:

Bugger but never mind mate, you did what you had to do and still managed to get yourself a fun toy that won't chew up as much of your money. What will be will be and I'm sure you'll get another SRT10 when the time is right.

It was a very sad decision to sell. I was just always in fear that it would break big again. I was at the end of my financial resources for big repairs. Last year alone I replaced the tranny again, front brakes and rotors, and I had 2 tow bills associated with diagnosing and repairing the coil packs.

Like I said I was very proud of the truck and I will miss it greatly. It truly was a beast.

Your information you provided on the minitubs that you installed is the only reason I decided to tackle this project on mine. I hope it turns out as good looking as yours did. I know that others on here have commented on your truck and how good the mods you made look/work. I am sure that the TinyGiants truck will live on within the forums.
