I want some more sound in the 10, but i dont want it to be to loud.

Just want a litle bit more than stock.
I watched some youtube clips etc and i think maybe the magnaflow system is the one thats the quiest one..?!

Another thing, will the popping/crackling in the exhaust go away when its changed?

I think the easiest and best way to improve sound
is to delete the 2nd pair of cats.
This helps to have a deeper sound.
All the best
Arne

If your looking for something with no very much sound... i did same search and if your wanting that diff.. sound go with borla and keep cats. Not much crackle or pop sounds aggressive at acceleration but calms at cruise sounds AWESOME in my opinion

just delete the 2 rear cats like stated above get you a good muffler and youll be a happy camper, your truck wont throw a code and it wont be loud enough to attract the cops. ...you can do this for under $300

Ok, when you say take out the cats, you meen replacing it with a pipe pr take out the thingy:)D) inside..?

Cut the rear cats and put a pipe instead.
Thats what i meant.
You can work from there, if you want to go louder...

If your looking for least expensive, then yeah just cut them out, what I did with mine before I bought headers and catless mid pipes was I cut mine out with a sawsall and put in a piece of pipe and held them with those wide exhaust band clamps, cost me about $80 and 2 hrs my time.

Do you have a sound clip on how that sounded for you? I was thinking about deleting the 2 rear cats and just putting some big tips for now.

Anyone have a good clip of one with magnaflow catback?

Searched youtube but you cant hear it so well because of the poor quality..

Lol, not too loud is what I want back again! I can't get on it without Everyone within 1/2 a mile stopping and looking! And cops go out of their way to follow me! I'm ready to go back to stock ( with electric cut outs )

I put hushpower mufflers on mine and it sounded good when you hit the gas and very mellow cruising. There is a video of my exhaust on here somewhere. I also have a stock muffler layin around here somewhere too... If anyone is interested let me know, has about 3000 miles on it.

For every reason stated in this thread (good or bad) is why I choose the B&B.

It meets all criteria: No drone, passes emissions and no CEL w/ 3" metallic high flow cats, GREAT sound w/o being too loud or obnoxious, NO UPS truck or "ricer" sound, no backfire "pops", highest performance gain from idle to redline, great fit and finish (Polished Stainless muffler and 4" tips), build quality is top notch and resale value is very high.

Cheers!

Depends on your budget for this project. Other than my Side Exit Exhaust, my favorite has been the FACTORY muffler with NO CATS and NO RESONATOR! It sounded pretty damn good and had a deep tone due to the huge factory muffler.:D

Sounds good, any sound clip/video..?
And what is drone..??

Drone is the annoying sound that resonates through the cab of the truck at cruising speed. Makes your head hurt after long enough. No drone means driving on a long highway trip remains enjoyable.

I have mine with MOPAR catback and 2 cat delete. It sounds really good . Its not that loud when your just driving around and when you drop your foot on the pedal it sounds amazing

this is a video of my truck

I'm guessing you have stock exhaust manifolds? Mine sounds a little different with Mopar LT's, catless mids and the Mopar/Borla exhaust. This clip is pre-strikers. My truck sounds different now.
