Does shifter threads have all the same pitch for the srt 10's? The OEM shift knob fits on my B&M but not my gen 1 venom shifter. Might have a burr or trash in the first thread of the venom shifter. Previous owner said his worked fine.

hey rage, with the gen 2 shifter, i got the stock knob screwed on fine, so i guess take a good look at those threads on the stick, like i said i had no problem .try a diff knob, strange.

For the gen1 you need a adapter. Call Tony he can help you.
Bingo!

Ill call Monday morning.

Can someone tell me why on earth would they make an aftermarket shifter for an SRT RAM that wont fit the OEM knob?

Also does the viper car master cylinder and SRT RAM master cylinder produce the same PSI going to the slave cylinder? Trying to track down an issue. Looks like my spec 3+ might need to come out for a nice dual disc.

I was told it was you that gave me a call today on the shifter, apologies for missing the call, really bad monday, as you can see just now getting to things

all the handles are threaded the same as oem, 3/8's 16 thread , oem, gen I and gen II, so not sure why you are having problems,

fell free to call me tomorrow after say lunch, I have to leave town again so I will be on the road, more than welcome to call my personal number 704-214-7849, but leave a message and I will call you back

but the handle should be 3/8 x 16 thread , all were done as oem is sir

No problem on missing the call. It was very late in the day. Ill see what the problem on my end is first.

I'm thinking a pistol grip shift knob would really be fun. However, i need to see about a custom handle that is bent back about 1-2" so my short arms can better reach it lol.

If you have a tap and die set run the 3/8 x 16 die down over the threads. I had to on mine when I got it. Not sure if it was a burr or what but it cleaned up the threads and went right on.

That what I'm doing tomorrow. Sometimes being a machinist has its benefits :)

Anyone care to share their pictures of their pistol grip shift knob?

I ran a die nut over the threads. Worked fine after. Seems the first few theads had an issue. Then it started to rain as I pick my tools up. So a test ride will have to wait. Then it's off to get the logo milled off and powder coated satin black. Thanks again gentlemen!
