Why as a matter of fact i did!!!

After keeping my eyes open for almost a year i found a truck that i could get for the right price and still build it to how i wanted it to look.

2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with the HO 5.9 24V Cummins turbo diesel. SLT Laramie 4x4.

When i got the truck it was pretty beat up, so right after i got it i sent it to my body guy. he had it for just over two months doing a full body restoration...fixing dents, scratches, and a little rust over the rear wheel wells. we went with the factory white but did the whole rocker in PPE's new rock chip guard paint black with matching painted fender flares i put on.with 4 clears on top.

truck has K'n'N CAI, 6-speed tranny with a SB dual disc clutch kit, and a smarty tuner with a dash mounted Quadzilla command center to moniter RP, EGT's, Boost, FP, and all other temps like tranny and oil and such. the highest setting is a 190hp over stock tune, i have only put the 90 hp tune on so far until i make a couple more adjustments to the truck to make sure im not gunna hurt anything:chain:. full open exhaust with 2x8'' chrome stacks, which will soon be PC'ed gloss black when i get my new front and rear bumpers. if its on the truck and not white it will be black. also had the emblems painted black also.

even with the 90 tune she is a freakin freight train and alot faster than u would think, throwin you back in the seat when she maxes at 36 lbs. boost:elefant::elefant:

suspension is equipped with an 8'' lift, custom driveshafts front and rear, custom traction bars front and back, bilstein shocks all around with stabilizer bar. also has 20'' **** Cepek wheels wrapped in 37x13.5xR20 Nitto Mud Grapplers

I like the long bed and the truck sits perfect. My only real complaint Is that you didn't post a single burnout video :D

Those don't look like 8" stacks.
I'm not a big fan of stacks but it's obviously not my truck.
You might also want to swap to a dry filter so it doesn't pass oil into the turbo. The K&N's are not the best on diesels.

By the way, the fun starts at 50+ psi!

Im very careful when charging the filter and am currently lpoking into a new one. wasnt a fan of stacks either. i would never putem on but tgey came on the truck. not %100 if im gunna keepem but tge sound freakin awsome. and 50 psi would be fun. as it sits 36 is fun but short lived with the six speed. not sure but i might go with twins in the future. first i need to get a boost fooler, switch to EFI live and run the higher tunes before i put money into turbos . if tge 90 hp tune is fun then the 190 tune might be enough to play around with every now and then. its a weekends warrior anyways. i drive my car to and from work

yeah the stacks help the lb look better i think. but after u have a truck with a long bed and do side job construction like i do...its hard to go back to a sb.

and the burnout vid is comming as soon as i get new tires. gunna smoke tho old ones off. the mud graplers suck for road noise

I had a set of custom 6" duals (out the back) on my old ride. They were sweet and sounded awesome!
    I had a 6-speed too but I could make a long pull in 6th at 60psi.
EFI is the shiz. It is hands down better than anything else out there. Just need to find a good tuner.

yeah. efi is just now avaiable for us. deff got some good tuners down here. river city diesel is about 20 min from my door step. they did a column on them in DP. he has a 10 sec shop truck. building a new f 250 with a 6.7 cummins and triple turbo. also a cummins specific very popular tuner about 2 hours south in effingham il.

thinkin bout doin one exit in front of pass rear tire... cuz there is alot of fakeazz ricers around here and she will deff roll some coal!!! got a kid in a miata bouncing off his rev limiter earlier today. sux to get ur azz handed to you in a 8600 lb truck:rock:

1 so i can keep soot off the truck

2 so i can keep the look of the stacks. (not a poser)

also have the choice to smoke out a douchebag tryin to race me. it doesnt look like a fast race truck. dont know why kids always try and flex up when im town

the look breaks up the long bed. i would use the stacks most of the time, but have a choice those rare occassions when a tailpipe comes in handy.

i did see a duramax with duel exhaust at the back cornrs face out and down, old school style. looked sweet. it would have to be some BIG tips tho

Oh I didn't realize you were saying the hidden pipe and cutout WITH the stacks. Makes sense now.
