Anybody have the CE style stripe vector file? Including hood, roof, tonneau cover, wing and tailgate. Preferably for a quad cab. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is proving to be damn near impossible to find.....anybody have any guidance?

I wish I knew where to buy the ce stripes in white...

i had them painted on my quadcab. any decent painter can lay them out. we eyeballed mine

Agreed^^
Get a base width of the stripes from someone and the distance between them and let the painter have at it:D

Well sure, I could have them painted but for a fraction of the price I could do vinyl. Plus the CE vinyl stripes are hard to find....which makes me want to find them even more.

Thought I had a lead, but that ended up being a dead end as well. Got in contact with the company that was put in charge of designing/painting the CE SRT stripes. Prefix Corporation - Low Volume Production and Custom Paint Facilities The stripes were painting and they never used a math based file for it. Some cool pics on their website though...especially the pic of white Ram SRTs and Neon SRTs waiting for their stripes. This company also did the ACR Viper and many other special edition vehilces.

All I have is measurements for the tailgate portion which should be the same for the wing and roof. The stripes are 17" wide, 3 7/8" between stripes and they end 4" from the bottom of the tailgate and are rounded. The hood is the part I am still searching for measurements for.

Thanks for sharing that info....it's a start!

If you do get the info on the hood stripes please let me know. I have exhausted all of my potential ways of finding it.

I am almost at the end of my resources as well. I may just have a local vinyl company make the file for me....not sure how much that will cost though. If I do that, then I will share whatever info I get.

Get the measurements you want and we'll make the vector file for you. do it on the cheap too (if I can ever get vendor status on here!)

easiest thing is to get a long sewing measuring tape as they will lay flat and are flexible. then use painters tape to secure it down the hood as you go so you can measure all the contours and everything properly. then get the measurement.

another thing to do is get a long piece of banner paper, do the same as above, then remove and take your measurements. trim with scissors as needed.

Most of the measurmentst are easy.....the hood section with the curved fang style stripes is the hard part. Not sure how to account for the curves.

It follows the natural hood line from the scoop to cowl. That's where the scoop rises from the hood.:dontknow:

That part I know....just not sure how to even begin to put that in to numbers....measurements to make a vector file.

What I am going to attempt is to make a set for the hood (cuz the rest of the stripes are pretty easy) by using painters tape and paper. Make them by hand, cut them out then have my vinyl person use that as a template. I not only want these done for me but I also want to be able to get my vinyl person the file because after searching I have noticed that barely anybody makes these style of vinyl stripes for our trucks.

Gotcha and that's an awesome idea. Guessing your shop could send the file to my shop and I can have a temporary CE for my Houston trip to see Ironnutz? LOL
