TT? That's been done with results, some OK, some not so OK... 15-20 folks willing to take the jump??? Economics and desire to be the badest in the land are the inputs to that function result. IMHO, any serious build with FI should consider equal attention to the inerds...

I have the shot block all done with Diamond pistons and Callies rods with the 710 cam all timed. Heads are ported with 3 angle valve job and high performance valve spings. Also had the engine all balanced.

Hope to finish the motor up this week and put back in the truck and running by the end of the month.

From my experience in the Viper market, there was a point where there were a bunch of guys who had gotten used to the power levels of their maxed out blower setups and there was a new wave of guys aspiring to go to the upper end of what the blower packages could make. Remember the 15-20 number is to get super affordable pricing. I think once people see what a value this is, the 15-20 will not seem so high.....

From what I have seen on theis thread, it takes anywhere from 6-8K mimimum to get anywhere near the 700 RWHP level on the Viper Trucks.

I am offering something that can safely and conservatively make 700 RWHP and give the performance and acceleration of a 900 RWHP blower package for just a touch more money that is by no means even close to being maxed out.

In the performance aftermarket, I have seen it over and over again where people spend X amount of dollars to hit a certain level of power with no hope of ever being able to make more than that.

This setup has no such limitation and is similar money to existing options.

You said that "Economics and desire to be the badest in the land are the inputs to that function result"

I agree with this but I also think it will also become a function of practical responsibility when a game changer like this becomes available.

Now on the subject of the internals of the stock motor, I have this to say:

One of my customers from back in the day has become a tuner and turbo system fabricator. He owns a CNC machine shop and has many resources including a Mustang dyno. He has built a turbo system for his 2003 SRT-10 Viper and has been running 800 RWHP(Mustang dyno number, more like close to 900 RWHP on a Dynojet) for roughly 19,000 miles. In this time he is almost on his 4th set of tires. He did an SCT tune where he has tuned every single load cell from vacuum to boost throughout the entire Viper engine RPM range with sophisticated equipment to go right to the threshold of detonation and then backed it down a touch.

If he has run his car hard on 800 Mustang RWHP in a hot and humid climate and it has taken his abuse, I think that 700 RWHP on a stock Viper Truck motor with one of his tunes will be a piece of cake. People are free to do their own tunes or I can sell them a tune like the one described above.

It is all in the tune, he has had great success with remote tunes as well.

So, with these things being said, having a TT system at 700 RWHP that has the performance of a supercharger setup @ ~900 RWHP while stressing the engine like a 600 RWHP supercharger setup is definitely something people will be interested and will want to do....

    What does everybody think?

That's crazy, I'm at 470hp with just headers, drop in filter, exhaust, tune, and bbk throttle body

Yep, SRT10 Oiltrash should be closer to 520RWHP with his mods.

It aint gonna happen bud. You will never find that many people in this crowd.

Make a driveshaft hoop or something in the under $100 range, then you might get a bite.

It is CRAZY. You went from 470-517rwhp after spending more money on the headwork. How about posting the invoices in this thread? It was nice meeting you, I like your truck, and congrats on the disposable income, but you are giving the money away. And I think anybody here can agree, if you add a Paxton and shoot for 700 hp on the stock bottom end it will not last long at all despite what LMR says.

Yeah it is, the parts in your Sig are what 6k? So you paid 8k labor? Are you talking 14k for everything including your visual mods? And as far as running 700rwhp on the truck with a stick bottom end I've been around here a while and have not seen on last for any length if time once you go past 600, not saying it isn't possible just saying what I've seen in the past, heartattack's paxton truck makes a ton of power and u don't think he has had any problems

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing your recent dyno vid. For some reason I thought you stated earlier in this thread that you were around 480rwhp :dontknow:

Post some pics of your past projects. The bad news is getting 15-20 people, maybe 1 or 2 if your lucky. Anything that costs more than $100 and the odds go down fast.

I agree, although it seams that building Dodge is always more expensive than building others. Part of that is supply and demand. If there were a million SRT-10's running around wanting upgrades the cost of each would be less. Wanting to be different.. prepare to pay for it, but enjoy the payoff too.

I'm sorry if my spending habits hurt your feelings, and I don't really see the need to post my invoices if somebody wants a break down they can let me know and I will send them a PM:D

Parts are actually closer to 10K, and as far as trying to achieve 700hp with a stock bottom end... I never said anywhere that I wouldn't run into problems along the way, but I guess I will cross that bridge when the time comes.

You're right I did state that I was around 470 back in June, as Sergio pointed out I have had some head work done recently which put me at 517
