Magnaflow is the sound for me. I've had them on both my 05 and then 04 I have now. No problems, and for $575 you cant beat it IMO.

    Knock on wood....

I did just find the Magnaflow cat back for $559 on Amazon and the Big 4inch MBRP single aluminized for $362 and SS309 version for $663. Talk to me on this monster MBRP..... I saw that Tony said if you want LOUD this is it but how is performance??

Agreed, I've been running Magnaflow for years and I have no complaints.

When I had my B&B longtubes jet hot coated, the guy there said they were some of the best quality headers he had ever seen. And they see all of them. Great exhaust work.

I would agree on the Magnaflow sound. Quality?!? Uhhh... In question. I did not like that the Magnaflow comes in 2.5" in/out.

I did NOT want the "Ricer" or "UPS truck" sound, nor did I want it so obnoxiuos that I could not enjoy my audio system.

Because the build quality on the B&B is so good, I will easily be able to sell it for 1/2 of what I got it for... easily! So for the net cost of what most guys are paying for other full systems, I can enjoy the best sound, performance, fit and looks now.

If I could afford the B&B I think I would have went that route too.

Magnaflow is 2.5" at the converters, but 3" out with 4" tips.

Yeah its 2 1/2 where the OE midpipe connects then the muffler and tails are all 3 inch with 4 inch double walled rolled tips and 1/3 the price of BB.......

    2 1/2" = choke point

    3" manifold back = power EVERYWHERE.

You will at least by two systems or more before the B&B has an issue.:D

My net cost will be less.

    Cheers!

Unless you replace the oe midpipes all the cat back systems are 2 1/2 off the mids, my oe mids measure 2 1/2 od. Then most of the cat backs open up to 3 after that. How is that a choke point, maybe 3-21/2 would be????? Just asking.

Good point. I keep thinking of the people who have installed aftermarket 3" mids, then install the magnaflow catback.

H pipe = sound / no power gains.

Enjoy B&B now and sell later = same NET cost as muffler shop.

    Cheers!:)

Thanks for all the feedback, I will be deleting the rear cats for now and maybe when I can afford catless mids I may upgrade.... The B&G stage2 pcm I bought has the 02's off so catless won't be a problem down the line, the stock exhaust is still solid so that money for now will go to something else. I think the rear cat delete will give me some of the sound I'm looking for for now and a few extra ponies.
