Bought a set of Jeep GC handles for $20 from a pick n pull. Took them apart, washed them down with wax and grease remover and wet sanded with 1000 grit as prep for sealer and paint. Will post a pic once I have them bolted on the truck.

Jay this was one of the small things that I did to my truck that I liked. I just painted mine a oem black color without a gloss or anything shiny. They just always stayed black instead of fade. I think they turned out great!

Never thought of doing them black, but after having wax stuck to the original handles, I'm having them done body color.

What all years work? and can you use the read door handles for rear doors on QC???:dontknow:

Not sure about the rear door handles on the rear of a QC. I pulled a door handle from a 2005 Ram in the yard and matched it up to the Jeep GC handles just verify size and lever arrangement. According to the Jeep parts list, I think the handles from a 2000-2003 will work.

VPRPWRD on here can get brand new Jeep handles in almost every color, contact him if youd like to buy new ones and not have to deal with having to repaint them.

Thanks for putting the word out Jay. 99 - 04 Grand Cherokee handles fit, as Jay said I am unsure of the rear handles but I don't see why they wouldn't work. I just installed my factory painted black ones over the weekend and it greatly reduces door handle pull effort in my opinion. Looks a whole bunch cleaner too.

The Jeep rear door handles will work on a quad cab. I bought two new handles for my RC already painted for less than $200 from Avondale last year. Took less than an hour to install and look great.

Are you still able to get the front handles? I have a 04 RC silver that I'd like to get them on. Im kind of worried about the paint matching being that the truck is 8 years old and im sure the paint has faded.

Yes I can still get them. The paint code on the Jeep and the paint code on your truck are not the same but they match really good. Both are listed as bright silver.

Painted my door handles over the weekend, forgot to take pics though. Hoping that I'll have some time this weekend to bolt them on. Will post pics for sure then.

Put my painted door handles on this morning. I was worried abot the color matching, but its perfect.
