If I go with a SRT10 model I can swap most of my performance goodies off my CE Truck .....if I go with a GTS model I will be modding it anyways
96-99 Model had forged internals so thats good.....

ummm, hands down GTS....... Better looking (never lost to an srt @ a car show), forged internals ('96-'99), only 50hp diff, cheaper to buy, gets the looks,.......:D

12.0 on street tires isn't bad, not a whole lot of cars can pull that off

GTS, but I'm biased. I think it's just better looking than the Gen 3s. What are your HP goals? What goodies could you take from the truck and use on the Coupe?

SRT, no question. Better chassis, brakes, suspension, and looks.

I love the looks of the GTS but I think a '10 would be a lot more daily driveable.

I'd love a GTS, but given the choice of those two cars, I'll take that Gen III. I'm digging the white and blue color combo.

If you think that's enough power then the Gen 3 seems like a good fit. I think it would be cheaper in the long run to get the GTS if you're interested in going the boosted route and creating big numbers. I would upgrade the oil system if I got a gen 3.
