I drove to Houston yesterday afternoon. The trip was 255.6 miles and took 3 hours and 43 minutes. Averaged speed of 68.77 mph and got 10.3 mpg. Have a 2007 Chevy Votec long bed that I only get 13.6 mpg driving at that speed and NOT near the fun. :D Not to worry, I live in Texas where many roads have a new posted speed of 75 mph with most folks setting the cruise on 80 mph. ;) My mileage is up around 13.2 cruising at 65 mph but ask VENOMOUS1, that ain’t why I bought the 10 in the first place. Also checked my actual mileage vs. the overhead gauge and they appear to be exactly together. By the way, I’m driving a 2005 Quad on which Dr. Viper has done his magic. :rock:

If you can endure the pain of cruising at around 60 mph and getting run off the road by everything in sight I have gotten about 14 mpg highway with my QC. I would get about the same mpg's as you with those speeds so your numbers sound about the same as mine.

I normally average about 9.5 to 10 around town. But I am not really concerned about the mileage it gets but check on it out of curiousity.

If I romp on it. No need to even look at the mpg's :D

This may not make any sense... But if I put the cruise on 90mph I get around 12.5.13 mpg. If I drive at 70-80 I only get 11-11.5 at best...

Go figure...

I average 11 mpg in town and on my last road trip, I set the cruise at 80 and got just over 15 mpg (I did have a pretty good tail wind). These numbers are pretty close to what my '09 Escalade and '06 Sierra Denali got. No complaints here.

You have a RC cab though and 6 gears. Much better on the highway than 4spd auto. Makes a big difference.

wow the qc sucks on fuel consumption.. I can get 21mpg at 70mph in my rc in relatively flat terrain .. when it gets hilly down to 19

Damn,I could get 12.3 cruising between 80-90 with my QC !! :rock::rock:

Better heads = better mileage.......but the ROI would take some time!

I got 25.1mpg (Imp) for miles at 65mph during my summer road trip. My overhead matches pen and paper mileage.

Striker's are great heads. Ronnie's QC is in the 18+mpg range with Striker's also.

I get waaayyyy less mpg racing!:D:D
