I am in the Chattanooga area and thought it would be a good idea to check in with you all and tap into your experience with these vehicles. Its seems that there are some awesome trucks here and a whole lot of experience. Ive always had sports cars and never a good muscle car/truck. I am thrilled and hooked. That being said, I wouldve figured 500hp is enough, but I believe more would be nice!
I finally took the plunge and purchased one of my favorite vehicles of all time at the end of May. Mine is a 2004 RC, flame red, 39,500 miles. Since then, I have added the Magnaflow cat-back (thrilled with it) and have plans for more goodies in the future, but am trying to take my time on it.
Anyways, thats my story. Glad to be a member here.

Welcome. I'm in Clarksville, TN. The MagnaFlow exhaust sounds great on our trucks, but beware many members have had issues with the internals of the muffler breaking. Use the search bar on the forum and you will find many threads about it. That said, if it lasts, it's a great sound exhaust. I think sometime this summer us TN boys are going to do a G2G in Nashville after I get back from the war. I know Chattanooga is a bit of a drive away, but maybe you could make a weekend out of it, esp if you are married. There's another member on here who lives in your area as well, can't remember his screen name though.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. And thanks for the heads up on the magnaflow. I enjoy checking out the message boards and hearing from other peoples successes and such.

Wildman, I am familiar with Oneida. My grandparents lived just up the road in good ole Whitley City, Kentucky. Last time i went that direction I actually saw a black SRT10 when eating in Oneida. Probably you. There aren't many of these things around!

Yea I have the only black SRT-10 here in Oneida, but there is a young man about 20 that has a rough looking red one. I go to Whitley City often. Next time you come this way give me a call and we can get together and get something to eat and talk awhile. My number is 423-539-0527

Thats tragic. We just dodged the ice yesterday. I need to work today, and typically I drive my company car, but I am excited to go in for a while today because I am taking the big red truck. Being on these message boards makes you want to go drive it something awful. Hang in there, spring will be here before you know it.
