spintec mufflers

I will, in time, but looking at the prices, you could get the aluminized steel for literally HALF the cost of the polished stainless...meaning you could use the aluminized until it fell apart, and then replace them with brand new ones and start all over again-for what it would cost for ONE set of polished stainless. Or you could change your setup at that point and start with something new with an extra $160 to start off with...any reason why I shouldnt go this route??

Definitely the way to go, unless you have a "show truck" and don't drive it. I have aluminized steel mufflers as well, no problems over 5 years of use.

It is it possible to use 2 of the 2 1/2 in/outlet ones in place of the oE muffler? I'm installing JMB catless mids soon and the rest of the OE exhaust is still solid.

Yes you can. I'm running dual mufflers right now (off-brand from an exhaust shop), not real issues with them. Although I'm swapping out my entire exhaust this summer. But yes, you can run dual mufflers.

I'm by no means an exhaust expert, but if you are concerned about the aluminized steel falling apart on you, you could always paint the mufflers with some exhaust paint to help protect them from the elements.

That sounds like a plan...does anyone make mids that are set up for side-exit exhaust??

ya can compromise, go unpolished & have great life out of them & way better resale/trade value later on:dontknow::rock:

i love stainless steel:rock::rock::rock:

Those are only $20 less than the polished...if I was to get wet, I may as well go swimming...I think ima stick to the aluminized and paint em...should last till I want to change it up! :) thanks for everyone's feedback! But I am curious about Catless mids made for dual side exit exhaust? Anyone know of such a thing? Thanks!!

I wish I had a under picture of the spins on the truck. I had them stacked sideways next to eachother.

Yeah I ran 2 of them. The video does not justice on how they sounded in person. who ever buys a set will be happy.

Does anyone have a picture or diagram of a dual spintech install? I just purchased two from a forum member and would like to know the best set up.

Did you use a crossover and do you still have the resonator in place? Thanks for the pics.
