Kinda of bored tonite..so I'd thought I would throw out something totally different. Which genre do you prefer more..Star Trek or Star Wars?? and why.

For myself I have to say more of a Star Trek fan, from those old 60's reruns to Star Trek the Next Generation, to all of those movies it spawned..I believe May 17th the next one will be released. Maybe it's just the logic in me..live long and prosper.

Captain Kirk's "Star Trek" phaser gun from the second pilot of the wildly popular 1960s television series sold for a hefty $231,000 on Saturday in Los Angeles, Julien's Auctions said.

The phaser, created at the request of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry for use by William Shatner, who played Kirk in the beloved sci-fi show, had been estimated to sell for about $50,000, but achieved more than four times that including commission.

Beat that Luke and your gay Light-saber...;)
