Built Engine, Good News!

arguing on the Internet no different than running the Special Olympics who ever wins is still 6500 a f****** retarded. I think this build is a great example of what can be done the problem is is my stock motor made it through 60,000 miles and a 250 shot of nitrous. This motor clearly can preform as well as a stock motor, so kudous. The most important thing is that you enjoy what you have done and that it meets your needs.
Now that being said let's dump a 400 shot of nitrous and turn this bitc* up to 6500, that would be easy for just about any balanced eand forged rebuild.

Tractor mechanic your right...I rebuild diesel engines gas motors and transmissions for a living and i do pretty well for myself...Rebuild more drag motors than you have ever laid your eyes on....i aint got shit to prove to your dumbass....
I thought you were kind of a fool but your last post confirmed it....a bare block? Do you have any idea what that even entails? You can not just throw new parts at a block new used or other...the only way you got away with it was because the engine had low miles and the bores were ok....any time you put a crank into an engine for the first timd it HAS to be line honed...why am i even telling your dumbass anything?? Seriously why would i even want to give advise to a fool such as yourself...

I tried explaining that i didnt have a problem with his build, its just the simple fact that he wants to compair rhrowing some slugs in-in his front yard to a engine build...

Nice work on the build,, Mine was pulled out and done by professionals " before i bought the truck " it was sent 2000miles across the country to be done right, it came back and was driven for about 1500miles before i tore it down and it was built like crap nothing done right and now I am having to re do it.. So pulling the motor and sending it to some of the " biggest names" in the country don't grantee you crap.,. SO good work on your motor running strong and doing it your self and in frame.

I know it wouldn't hold up to a 400 shot as it doesn't have studded head bolts, the rings aren't gapped properly, it doesn't have pro-gram mains, and I have no desire to use full blown race gas as you did to avoid detonation. That's why in post #7 I stated I never intended to spray over a 225 shot.

Then why would you even bother with forged pistons? Stock bottom end would hold up to what tou are saying you want to do?

well I think with the upgrade in parts and the parts you used you improved your engine. I think you did a great job and hopefully she will stay together. people need to live by the code "IF YOU AINT GOT ANY THING GOOD TO SAY KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! And this would be a lot better world.:)
