I'm on mobile. actually have been spending time with family and occasionally comin back here and having a laugh with my dad at what a moron u are makin of yurself here.

This would be a lot better world if you would just pay attention...I never had a problem with what he did to his truck i could care less...

Id slap ya with the back of my hand, you seem like too much of a bitch for the front :):)

Never had a problem but continue to throw out, "hillbilly", "hack job", and implying i didn't, "do it right" hmmm...

Then why would you even bother with forged pistons? Stock bottom end would hold up to what tou are saying you want to do?

Higher compression will not only make much more power on the street but will have a better initial response on N2o and slightly better overall horsepower and torque than a lower compression counter part, on the same shot.

Also, how about you educate yourself and search this forum and the numerous viper forums and report back how well "stock bottom ends" hold up on the 8.3L's.

This is my problem....You put pistons in your truck in the driveway..then you say you posted this to be positive and encouraging..compairing this to a build...you typed the shit read it....or at least explain what you were trying to say!!

Anyone with moderate mechanical skills can do it....So what the fuck does putting in pistons in your driveway have to do with (a few members are leary of paying for builds) WTF are you talking about???

Okay, I will tune down my vocabulary, just for you. I said, "I realize this may not be big for some but, for me, it's a great feeling." I was saying that, I know most of you won't care but, an in-frame build or even doing some of the labor on ones own is a possibility. Never did I ask for anyone to pat my back or kiss my ass. I know I did a good job!

Just making a thread for some that may have never even heard of an "in-frame build" or knew it was a possibility. An attempt to stir up some conversation other than a waxed/washed thread or look at my plasti-dipped grille! If a member pulled the engine on their own engine, disassembled, then took it to a machine shop for labor, and reassembled on their own they could save thousands and additionally had a sense of accomplishment. Some members maybe considering this and I would be more than happy to provide information or insight to help them out.

WoW....you just pulled some caveman shit...i have no clue on how to respond to your paragraphs....holy moly batman...

It sure is, "happening to hold up". The post was meant to be positive and encouraging as a few members now seen to be leery of paying for a built engine. Anyone with moderate mechanical skills can accomplish this.

I will say one thing tho....unless you want to explain this nonsense, in less that 6 paragraphs im over your expert advise...
