For those who don't understand the LS engines

Built LS with spray on slicks vs GTR, that GTR could loose by a mile and would still be the car to choose. That chevy must have some 4.88's to be running that strong yep yep
 
That's a nasty ss and I know what your saying about ls motors but not a far comparison. Imagine if ss had to run from cops
 
Id take the GTR over that camaro all day. Ive seen what they can do with just a few bolt ons and a tune, and they are nasty.

Now just up the boost on the GTR just a little Tune it and let's see
what happens. Bad ass vid tho both cars are nice.

And I'd honestly prefer my old WS6 or a Vette to that GTR! That's just me. They're just too ricey for me. You'll never lift the wheels, it won't pick up near the women, you'll blend in with every 350Z(too common) 370z and most other ricer cars.
Again, that's what makes Murica great! Different tastes and ideas!

I enjoy American muscle as much as the next guy but that GTR is a sick car. I'd own both. :D
 
I agree they're fast, but body lines of a WS-6, almost any of the last 3 ZO6/ ZR1, and its hard to say this, but even a new Stang. They could all put that GTR to shake in looks and power for less money.
Give me a GTR and rid the AWD crap, put a V8 Turbo Nissan engine and ill fall in love.
I'm still wanting to LS/Viper swap an Acura NSX in black please .)
 
Man listen… Im with you.. I like American too..

But very little stands with the GTR. Have you ever driven one? Or road in one? We got a few guys around here with GTR's in the 4 Digit numbers. Mod for Mod that Camaro doesn't stand a chance. That thing is probably blown up by now.

You can have your body lines all day long. I will take the innovation, the engineering in body construction, ALL AROUND performance advantage, etc. over the SS, WS6, etc. any day. I don't know what block you live in but you aint pulling chicks with a Camaro or WS6 around here. Especially not when they see how cheap the inside of the cars are.

This coming from a guy who has an LS powered car who would have every reason to side with you except from reality.
 
Oh yeah, I've witnessed them by the 30s deep at TX2K events. They do great but the car just doesn't stand out to me. Again personal preference from a guy who likes the C5 Vette of C6/ C7 body's. just me ;)
This is my baby and to me she's sexier than any GTR.

Everyone has their own taste. I drive the GTR's often. It's a very fun car. Reminds me of a shifter cart on steroids.
