I honestly think the 88's would be too much but i dont know? I really dont race it, but id like it to get out of the hole quicker while im coming out of these roundabouts over here in the UK. :burnout: But i dont know, i hear that the 88's can now be used in the OE carrier...?? how does that work? i thought only the 4.10 & 4.56's shared that carrier..?

I think Tony is havin em custom made :dontknow: . If I didn't drag race any, based on output from those who have gone with 4.88s, I would prolly do that instead of the 4.56 just to have a better hole shot feel (if you have traction).

I vote staying 4.56 and you'll get through your roundabouts much faster ;)
I can get ya fixed up if that's the route you'd like to take. ;)

I think an 88 would be great as long as you have a 6spd tranny!!

Hey Scott, you wanna PM me some numbers on the gears? I'm gonna call the shop over here and see if they can do the swap!

If you ever plan on going to the track and have or plan on any mods, don't go with 4:88's. I have 4:56's and some bolt-ons, and basically full weight. Both of my last to runs were trapping over 110mph. With my DR's and 4:88's I would probably be right at my rev limiter with no room to gain.

the fastest street racer on the forum has never lost a race since he installed his 4.88's

Hmm ..who is this? Is like to race him! STFU Challenge! ;):burnout:

Damn right, and the king don't have to travel, if you feel like you need a piece, you know where to go

Oh yeah forgot to mention, raced at the Mooresville raceway not long ago, myself and 2 other srt10s, both were 4.56 trucks, with more mods than mine. I was running 8.0's flat and spinning, the others were pulling 9.2's and 8.6's at best...its not the gear, its the driver. Learn to drive your shit

If you have any torque , you will want taller gears!! I switched to 4:56 because 6th gear was a slug! No power at alll. Useless gear!! With 4:56 it is useable. Once you build some real power you will want more gear !
