Ha, you been looking at my record bro? :smokin: I am totally ashamed of my younger life. Totally.
I only write hoping he will see what is really wrong and mend his ways. Don't really know if he can beat his DUI cause he is in Louisiana and I do not know their laws. :dontknow: Texas ----- good possibility he has a chance. I do know that 38 years after my DUI when I am stopped they check my license through the data base and then ask if I have been drinking. Some of the stupid things we do just never go away. Really only trying to give advice on something I have 1st hand experience.
I agree to this to a point... One of my best friends father got a DUI when he blew a .08 (obviously the exact limit). He had two glasses of wine while out to dinner with his wife. The cop treated him like he was a hardened criminal. In that case I really sympathize for people. This man is a great guy, no criminal history at all, and has a couple drinks once or twice a week. I understand there needs to be a line drawn somewhere but penalizing someone the same for .08 and .32 seems a bit ridiculous.
That is his version of the incident...must have been very large glasses....08 versus .32 that is up to the judge how the matter is resolved.
And trust me I am no saint..

Ok I held my tongue for as long as I could. People I wasn't a case deep and a bottle of crown down I had a couple it was mardi gras festival and I actually stayed home all day watching the tv. Got a call from a friend who needed help went to help got stopped and cop went right into the DWI shit before I stepped foot out of the car. I was in no way drunk but when the cop tells you that he pulled you over bc it looked like I merged to fast I know what's about to happen. Anyone on here ever taking a "field sobriety test" they will get you if they want to. Fuck if I wanted to be lectured I would spend the night at Ironheads house more while he's away. I've lawyered up and ill tale my chances. I don't condone drinking and driving but some of you high and mighty mother fuckers need to hop off your horses and take a lookk at your past

So why even make a thread about it if you've already contacted a lawyer? Car forums for legal advice? Some people have been personally affected by drunk drivers so you're going to get a lot of no sympathy responses. I don't understand not taking the field test, but whatever. Good luck.

A sober person would not refuse to blow or refuse the field test... as everyone knows refusing is an admission of guilt..

My bud just spent 10k and a year and a half fighting his , ended up getting driving while impaired a year probation with 100hrs community service
My opinion is ...don't share nothing here unless it is a simple question about Ram srt 10's. To many people with lives that suck so bad they have to make sure everybody else's suck! Man has been drinking alcohol since he watched fruit rot. Alot of ugly people would not get fucked if it wasn't for booze! Alcohol will not go away. Just another form of oppression Another freedom lost......my 2 cents. I hate drinking and driving laws!!! and i hate drunks who kill people even more...... The harsher sentences hasn't changed anything!! It is all politics!!
