Old #2933 went [email protected] on its one and only shake down session, all motor and in bad air, following heads and cam build. It had more in it. Just never took it back out again.

Interesting conversation today on FB. A guy claims that DC Motorsports built him a pro charged RC in that in 2006 went 10.6 at Sacramento Raceway. Anyone here familiar with this truck or this story?

I saw a video some years ago of Jerry in action. That was ca-ra-zee.. And he's 6th on cave's original list?? Damn... I remember Blaine@PSI was hitting very low 12s bone stock in his silver '04 in Houston around 2005??? I thought he was going to break his truck by the way he drove that thing...

The dude had skills and the silver RC he owned was beaten to hell on a regular basis. He seemed to live at the track on weekends in Baytown, TX.. It was back when we weren't really as big into modding like now. I haven't seen him here for a long while. I don't think low 12's is unbelievable. :dong:My first and last time at the track I only put down a mid to high 14something.
Nothing to be proud of but I know I have ZERO track skills... I'm too much of a weenie to break mine..

Best I have seen bone stock down to paper filter o stock rims was 12.90 @105. Buddy of mine who has drag raced for years. That truck literally began to fall apart the day he pulled out of the parking lot from trading it in.

Low 12's is possible with the right driver for a stock R/C. It is just that most R/C owners don't know how to drive or they own a really slow color. Silver of course is the fastest!!!
Guy probably did stupid stuff like driving around in 6th gear at 40mph.
