Well my stay was only about 6 months but I enjoyed every minute of it. I decided I needed a more practical truck to daily drive and I got an amazing deal on a new F-150 Super Crew 4x4 so the SRT 10 got traded in. I hated to see it go but I made the right decision. :)

Youth---duh---dealer probably wanted it for himself. :dontknow:

You will regret it but next time I'm thru Hewitt (yes, I know where Hewitt is and go thru often) I will open my new cutouts and remind you of what you gave up. :burnout:

The truck was great but it just didn't do it for me. After owning a Z06 for a few years I thought a performance truck would fill the void and still be a truck. I was wrong. Hopefully someone will be able to enjoy the truck for what it is as I liked be truck but was not in love with it.

Probably because the truck was silver, which is understandable. I don't love silver trucks either.

I personally don't think you gave it a chance but that doesn't matter. Guarantee no Ford will give you the feeling of the SRT-10 Viper Truck. I know your old z06 was beast, think it beat my WS6 a time or two but we're talking trucks! My truck is way faster than my WS6 or Vette! It's fun, useful, and a thrill each time I press the button. Had you tuned it, full exhaust, cam, the things you did to your Z06 you wouldn't think about selling, lol.
To each his own though and good luck on the Ford. :D

Some people just wont get it I guess about our trucks..which is fine..but that comment about silver ones got me drinking this morning...aaahhhh.

I was drinking when I wrote it, coffee :D

Every time we wash our cars I like silver more and more, and it seems to stay clean forever

Isn't it clear enough that the silver owners are the smartest of the bunch ?!?!

I mean.....Hellloooo

I dunno how you decided that a Ford 4X4 is practical after saying your brief ownership of a 10 was not as good as your past ownership of a Z06, but...okay. Perhaps something else is going on here.

I've been a year one silver RC owner since mile 000008 on the odo. I remember back then my daughter's mother wasn't fond of my new 10. She hated it citing that I could have put a down payment on a house instead.... Well, I thought long and hard about what she said and.. I made a firm decision. She was right, I HAD to get my priorities straight. So after I kicked her ass to the curb, things just improved. Since then I'm happy to report that I still have my same original 10 (I'll never sell it), I purchased an SRT-8 (paid off), a mean looking all black 2012 Armada that serves as a family vehicle, a new wife that supports my tastes for toys and I also got that big house I always wanted.. My point here is, if you simply MUST hang up the 10 before it grew on you due to.."practicality", or whatEVER the real reason is then, :dontknow:good luck with the Ford Super Crew filling that void.

I dig the new F150's. What engine did you get?
