Hi all, I've owned a 2005 QC since sept 2012. I absolutely love it except the gas mileage lol. As far as I know it's stock right now (I did notice a B&M deep sump oil pan on the ole tranny so it has me curious). It does have a very expensive set of 24" Forgiatos on it from a previous owner but at no extra cost to me when purchased. I have some mods in mind in the future but I am finishing up my mustang build and just dumped 15k into it so the wife isn't very happy at the moment. I have 5 kiddos as well so my projects are slow pace. As probably everyone else here, I love the drag strip and my best time was last Friday 13.7022@101mph with bed cover, tailgate, spare tire, and back seats removed. If I can get ahold of some slicks I'm sure I could shave a little bit more. I'm thinking the basic CAI, exhaust (3" pipe to super 10's), and a tune would wake her up enough to satisfy me for about 2.5 days lol. But I do plan on spending 20-30k on her in the next few years to hopefully see the 10's but it's just a dream right now. Anyways, I look forward to talking to everyone, learning, and hopefully helping where I can. I am learning a lot about this truck everyday, but as for now I know so little. I am a mechanic at heart and trade (I'm a diesel mechanic in the Marine Corps) so I know enough to get me by, but I'm sure everyone here will teach me more.

Glad to be part if the forum,
~Scott Jones

There nice looking wheels. I usually only like the stock wheels.

Thanks, I like them too. I was going to go back to stock since one was damaged until I found out they cost 2k a rim and 800 a tire. With 11k in just shoes for this thing I decided to just have it repaired. According g to OCC (the local rim shop here) I have the most expensive rims in town. I have no idea who would put that kind of money in rims but like I said, they were free to me so I'm not complaining.

I believe I've heard of him, he's from south Florida I believe. If it is the same guy I called and was quoted $350 with a tune which is an amazing deal!

Ok I'm home so attempt #2 on the pics. This is the old look with the red stripe.

Since it won't let me post more than one pic per post I'll just do multiple. This is after I removed the red stripe, debaged, and had the rim fixed and all re-powder coated.
