AdrianCA did you see this?

ON'T DO AS I DO DO AS I SAY.THATS the stumpy way.

Again, you do not read what is written. :chain:

"Stumpy" you say, 6'6" and 267 pounds with a big iron on his hip. :D

Ya can't shoot me between the eyes as YOUR president is taking away all your ammo. Guess you will be left with only your eloquent words to through at me. :D

Nah, my bad. Leadhead is so easy to get going that every couple of months I take the bate and play with him. Sometimes I just can't resist. My bad

Hmm don't know where to chime in, but will say that everyone with a vehicle, powerful or not, takes a chance every so often. Whether it's a race, speeding in above posted limit, going through a yellow light, attending a sanctioned race at the track, driving in in-climate weather, we takes chances daily when driving any motor vehicle. Others lives are our responsibility when we drive. There are many that have more money than sense and that's where the problem lies. If you can drive for crap normally, you damn shouldn't try to take a corner fast, drive in snow/ice, wet roads, etc. And damn shouldn't try pushing your car to it's limits on a city street full of people.
People with cars have raced since the invention of them! It's gone on for generations and will continue. There needs to be more sanctioned events closer to everyone so that the desire to race on public roads is reduced. It'll never disappear but can be substantially reduced. This isn't the case in many cities where guys/gals have to drive several hours to attend a couple hour track day!
The solution is not to argue with one another, yet do something positive to make a change in the sport and education of owners of high powered vehicles we all love. A training course of sorts! Not making it legal to race on the street by any means, yet providing these no driving fools with experience from some of us that know the ins and outs and care enough to share.
Our passion and pride will never let racing die, no matter where that race is held!

Scott that's what my first post was about .
If you drive fast you may or will crash and die ,If you stand to close to a road to watch an illegal road race ,you may die .For one side or the other to point fingers at who is to blame is irrelevant. We all need to take responsibility for our actions .For the stupid driver saying if they were not there they would not have been killed is ludicrous. They both bear responsibility ,but in my option the driver deserves more of the blame .

Then the old Billy Goat had to start preaching about things he does himself .
And he does not even know how to spell bait so there you go .

Practice what you preach before you get on your soap box and start talking holier than thou. Unfortunately it does not take a lot of brains to get a High H.P. vehicle. JUST A FEW BUCKS,In a stang a few less than others on both counts lol

Boarding call got to run . Only 2 hours to go .BRUUUPP

The guy driving the Stang (Hendry Michael Gevorgyan) is taking responsibility and turned himself in Saturday night.

Don't know about Hendry but it would be very hard to live with myself knowing what I had done. Accident or not. I am glad he manned up.

And to chime in and answer a previous question, most of the tracks in so cal are closed. They are trying to get terminal island reopened. No and i don't street race nor do i condone it.

The cops are making a pretty big statement that you don't have to be behind the wheel to be charged with murder, organizing it makes you just as liable.

Thats communist crap, IMO. Worth noting is that they used Adrian's video on the Yahoo article.

I still don't see how anyone can say that the racers are responsible for the spectators. Whatever happened to people being responsible for themselves? Would I race under those conditions? Nope. Think I could live with myself if I hit someone with my irresponsible actions. Conversely, would I attend an event like that? Nope because I take personal responsibility for my well being.
