:dontknow: I have to remember all the stuff I have with it. Cylinder heads, intake, caltracs never installed, line lock, never hooked up. 8 factory wheels, still have stock exhaust and manifolds. Heck I even have the windowed block.... I really am not interested in giving it away. She is stupid clean/ low miles (50+k) I was very active here till she cavitated the oil and threw rods.....

Frankly if I found an 04 block she would be running again.

After the motor popped on it I looked around for a block- couldnt find one and sure wasnt paying/ affording a perf build short block.

If I found a good block I would build that up.

I had intentions on putting in a built cummins diesel and even had one mocked up on a hoist, but to do it I would need to start cutting modifying the right motor mount tabs on the frame and cut the front crossmember and trim it for oilpan clearance..... I pulled the hoist and block out and closed the hood.

I couldnt bring myself to cut one up.... yet.

Like I said I could put it back with a good block. I have a good pair of take off heads that I bought from a member here a long time ago- lol they were low mileage heads, I was gonna build them up and swap out my stockers- the motor popped before I had the chance to.

I didnt have the chance to hook up the hurst roll control, or bolt on the caltrac bars either. This was back in 2006  Truck has been kept under covers in my driveway. And I always take covers off and wash and wax her in the summer. I even spent a couple of days doing the entire UNDERSIDE of the truck. She is clean.

I also have 8 stocker wheels. I was gonna pick the best 4 out of the sets and have them powder coated black.....

I know I have the stock manifolds and exhaust up in the loft at the barn. LOL

    :dontknow: I'm on the fence

Can you email me, I can not private message here yet but would love to see more through pictures and talk numbers with you. I have a dream build for one of these trucks and I am trying not to tear mine down to do it. It will be a 1000rwhp and not another in the US like it.

We can talk here. I have nothing to hide.

Like I said- I could put it back together with a good block.

I was gonna go buck wild on converting it but fell short when it came time to cutting on it.;)

I would upgrade the rotors now anyhow- probably could clean them on a brake lathe but upgrading them would be better option.

I'm not really one for chit chat. What do you want for the truck and I would like to see extremely detailed pictures. Thanks

I had a couple people interested yet Im not privy to the 5k offers. Had another one offer 8K. Frankly I'll start cutting on it for that price. LOL

Although she did almost get traded off for a Bruno/Lenco racing trans, and some smaller goodies. But the deal never went through.

She's been stored up under covers in my driveway and every summer I make a point to wash and wax her. The bottom side needed a detailing so over the summer I made sure to wax under there too- even up into the inner bed sides up as far as I could reach. No rust!!!!!

    Rotors have rust though:rofl:

7000-7500 was going to be my offer being it is in the condition your saying, and including my trip that would put me on up there. If you change your mind I would like to see current pics.

Also since we are a bit apart on the roller price would you be interested in the sale of the caltracs, flywheel, heads,(headers if you have any, with mid pipes)

I'm gonna give it one more go at locating a good block, if no block is found, I might just start on again with the conversion.

Obviously I would pass on your offer, but thank you.

If I don't find a block soon, I will start putting ads in the parts for sale area.

I was thinking of making a table out of the windowed block.

Maybe I put the motor together again and put a 1" thick piece of glass tabletop on top. Lol make a designer table out of it lol who will be the highest bidder?

Its crazy. All I need is a good block and I can put her back ! Viper powered!

My hands are almost tied to put a rattlesnake in her boys.....

Plain and simple... if you still love the truck then don't sell it. Granted it's your truck and your money but it makes me cringe to think of another person disassembling a 10! The only problem about holding out for big money is your never going to get it... A few really nice running trucks have sold this past year for around $17,000 (Hawk's truck was extremely nice and he let it go cheap. Chris chime in with details if you like). By the time somebody buys a roller, buys a used motor (X2 just for example) for around $7-$8K they're already going to be at or above what they could have bought a complete truck for. Especially considering that you have work to do instead of just turning the key and enjoying. I also would love to have this truck, but financially it doesn't make sense to buy it at the price you seem to be looking for, especially seeing it doesn't even have a block to start with. That's my .02! Good Luck with whatever you choose, I suggest keep it.

Actually when it was all said and done it came to a bit over $20,000 on the trade and $21,000 when I got to skip a payment and sell a few bits from it......worked out good for me but I think I'm only 1 of a few who don't miss it, but like to talk to all you guys so I stay a member and probably will for a long time, learned a lot here over the years and met a great group of enthusiasts!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh for some reason I thought your truck was one of the ones that went for $17K..... Although I'm glad for you that it wasn't, you're truck was way to nice to go that cheap!

I think it is evident I still like the truck. I have resisted the urge to drop in a Cummins because of the required cutting that would need to be done to gain clearance for the massive 6 cylinder.;)

having parted out a truck, i can promise you that it's not worth much without the motor and trans... which is the single most expensive thing you have left...

i get that you have "extras" but nobody in their right mind is gonna put a motor together with used parts... you're better off selling them separate, in my opinion.

i'd offer more than 5k - quite a bit more, but if you think you have a 12k paperweight, i'm afraid to say you're better off fixing it.
