Why don't you search for a 04-06 block and just make due with clean wire extensions, just because the block has the knock sensor and your pcm can't use them doesn't mean they have to be used.
As long as the block can be used with my 6 speed manual and I can use the parts off my 04 I can live with some wire extensions. Who has a block that would work?

Glad you're keep it bro. I'll keep an eye out for an 04 block here in Cali. I've already asked Dan at SPT Performance (Formerly DC Performance) or Todd at A&C Performance if they might be able to help.
