i get that you have "extras" but nobody in their right mind is gonna put a motor together with used parts... you're better off selling them separate, in my opinion.

i'd offer more than 5k - quite a bit more, but if you think you have a 12k paperweight, i'm afraid to say you're better off fixing it.

How do I put an APB out on a good block?

The heads I picked up would be the ones used to port/polish.
I would have the crank checked and polished.
I would order a set of aftermarket rods/pistons.
Then a cam setup.

As long as I have a good block to start with, then I can slowly build as time/finances allow. I just cant nut up 10K off the bat, but over time a little here- there I could piece it back together the way it should be.
