About 5 am this morning I stopped at McDonald's to get a cup of coffee. I saw a yellow challenger and told the guy nice car but I think I can beat you. He said let's do it and we lined up on the street counted to 3 and hit it. I gained a car length on him pretty quick and pulled to about 2 car lengths in about a half mile run. He pulled up beside me and said his car was pretty quick huh and I said no you lost to a truck.:burnout:

Beware of SRT's as well. My '04 SRT10 will outrun my Challenger SRT until about 100 then the brick like aero takes over and the Challenger will pass.

Thanks I'll be racing my brother in laws 2006 magnum srt next week. We're meeting at the track so we won't get much over a 100mph. Should be a good race though.

YUP, my buddy got a 2015 this year and it has the SRT 485hp 6.4 Hemi with the 8 speed, a stock SRT10 has no chance, modded maybe...I remember how my 10 felt and after a ride in the Scat I would have been embarrassed, but seeing I do not race it does not matter.....:burnout::D
 
Someone needs to figure out a way to use the new 8 speed from the Hellcat in the Ram SRT10, that would be a beast!!!!!!!!!!!! There are enough people on this forum who could swing the cost.......

A good friend of mine just got one as well. They called me out the day they came home.with it. I have to replace my roaring front wheel bearings and rear end clutches before I hit the track again tho. I will post vid on here when I do get beat.
 
Cool, my buddies made the allpar Facebook page home picture, it's a picture my son took of his scatpac.
 
I had a run in with a Magnum SRT on the hwy in my 05 qc. 60-X20 or so, I pulled a length on him and stayed there till we let off. Mopar intake and Mopar/borla catback only. I was pleasantly surprised with my truck.
This was in Mexico on a closed HWY btw...
 
I raced an RT once (actually a 6-speed manual Mopar 10 with the 5.7 Hemi) at an all Mopar meet at Famoso. It was a young kid and he challenged my truck. I told him it wouldn't be a fair race but he insisted. I went 11.68 and he went 15.32..... I was so embarrassed for him.....and he said "Holy Shit" that's a fast truck.
