I know the original owner, purchased new from the dealership I worked at and serviced here. Does that count? :D

Interested in selling the vca.. Im in Canada

Mine was like new----15,400 on it when I bought it in Oct of 2012. Now it is not like new with 96,586 miles and counting, till Scott does a forged rebuild on her. That's 32,800 a year or 2,700 per month. Frankly I can't tell any loss in power but I am deaf and old so who knows----who cares? Still having a ball. :D

I think this is a great topic. I remember it vividly when the word of these trucks came out... the articles that I've read, the reviews I've seen that are now on youtube along with the commercial of the red reg cab blowing all of the doors off in the suburbs. seeing these trucks for the first time in person at the drag strip to now owning one. after the sticker shock of the $45k+ price tag quickly added this truck to the list of vehicles to buy after winning the powerball to being a proud owner of one.. it was well worth the wait. I never consciously set out to wait on the prices to go down but they always stayed in the back of my mind of getting one should the price get within reach. I would occasionally click around eBay to see what the average price was off and on... now they are at a very affordable price for a lot of people. even the super low mile and garage kept ones. now days the average brand new half ton with with bells and whistles are $35k-$40k and doesn't nearly have the power or cool factor... guess the newness still hasn't wore off to me since buying mine in Feb.

3rd owner, 72K when i got her, and cussing every minute it takes to change these coils……………….

but i know i'll be smiling when she goes sideways in 2nd gear…………..

I still have min too. It sits in the back of my shop with 36000k on the odo and a inch of dust on it.

Maybe you should have a poll on how many second owners are out there. Seems like there is a lot of us.

I'm the 4th owner on mine.. the carfax showed the majority of its mileage was accumulated by the original owner. the guy I bought it from which is a fellow member didn't own it very long.. he did a little this and that on it but only owned it about 6 months. he had the fever for something else. I was more than happy to take it off his hands since I know he takes take good care of all of his stuff and he wouldn't of bought it if it was a lemon. I was able to get in touch with the guy that owned it before him. again, he took good care of it so that's a positive thing at least.. doesn't seem to be consuming oil and she still feels strong. I'm almost done with my to do list for it. I wanna get a tune and set it back to factory ride height..

3rd Owner Here

3rd owner - bought with just over 25,000 kilometers on her. First owner bought it for a retirement gift to himself when he retired from the Brampton Assembly Plant, he put about 17,000 kilos on her in 4 years, sold it when his clutch leg couldn't push the clutch pedal down anymore! 2nd owner had it about 5 years, put a little over 8,000 kilos on her (he bough it as a retirement gift to himself also!!!) - he decided to sell because he was downsizing everything and moving to a condo so no room/garage. I spoke to the original owner and he wished he had the strength in his leg - he wouldn't have sold her.
I've put just over 5,000 kilos on her last season and don't know how many this year but each and every one has brought a smile to my face when I hit the go pedal!!!!!
And all 3 owners were/are toolmaker's by trade!!!!
