Would you trade in your 05 SRT10 for an SRT 392 Challenger or Charger?

The Hell Cat would be a nice addition but definitely would not trade for one. This is just my opinion but I don't like they way manufacturer's offer a muscle car with so many different options especially motor size. (V6, V8, bigger V8). I understand why to reach more of the market with sales but it takes away from the whole point of having a muscle car.

Our trucks only had one option for a power plant, the V10! This has been my dream to own a SRT10 for many years. Heck, I even tried to build a 96 ram with a turbo and it still doesn't compete! :D
 
The wife and I went and test drove a new Hemi Charger, and a Yellow Jacket SRT Challenger.... Neither were impressive. They may be faster on paper than my SRT10 Ram but they sure as hell didn't feel faster. The technology they have really is vastly superior- but I cant imaging getting "thumbs up" at red lights in either of those cars. Not that I am looking for that but it is a nice feeling.

The only thing id trade my SRT10 for would be a decked out brand new Limited Ram.

Can't go from a truck to a car.

Those cars are wayyyyyyyy too common too.

Considering you probably won't get much on trade, buy the car, and keep the truck :)
 
I Can beatup on 392 Challengers at will! There are 2 here and they are no problem at all!! That was without the Turbos......

Basically this in a nutshell.

If you love your SRT10 as much as some of us do, then nothing will ever make up for it. No amount of technology would make me think twice about trading it in.
 
I go to car shows & there are Chargers & Challengers everywhere. Some are even the same color. Usually I am the only SRT-10 there. If there is another, they are a different color. If they put the HellCat in the Jeep G/C I will be trading the wifes 5.7 Hemi Jeep G/C in for it, but not my 10. Mine is a daily driver with 106,000 miles.
 
I really enjoy seeing Challengers and Chargers...............in the rear view mirror!:D

I also enjoy Corvettes, Lightnings, Camaros and GT500's.
 
i almost bought a plum crazy one but then i found Zilla
sure the car is faster
sure they make more parts for it
sure the parts are cheaper to buy
sure the MPG is better
you can get a newer stereo with hands free calling (thats about as high tech as i am so not sure that would fix your tooth being blue and streaming something from your ear……… not sure what your talking about………:D

sure most people have forgot about these trucks but when Zilla gets sideways in 2nd gear i just can't stop smiling and most people i see ask when they started putting sticks back in trucks like they did in the "good ole days"

lets just hope she still runs when i finally get back her put back together:chain:
 
If my wife gets her way and I get a HC I would definitely NOT get rid of #1900. I'd retire her in the garage before selling or trading in.. Hellcat would freeze over first..
