Intake Cleaning Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend some sort of Aluminum Cleaner I could use on the Intake on my new (to me) '05 QC Intake? I'd like to be able to clean it in-the-Truck, as it has some pretty bad stains on it. Something I could use that would clean the intake but not hurt any of the surrounding engine parts...hopefully something I wouldnt have to use a garden hose to rinse off. Thanks! (If this isnt in the correct Forum, sorry..)

Simple Green is a good cleaner, and the bare aluminum wheel cleaner works real good but has an ugly after effect after a few days. you can try Comet and a tooth brush sometimes works

Be careful! It has a silver coating on it, not sure if it's paint or factory powder coat. I pulled mine off and had JMB powder coat mine

I also use simple green diluted in water. Works great in removing stains and dirt.

Simple Green & a extended length soft brush. I also use this on the valve covers.

Use S100 corrosion protectant. Keeps it looking good afterward.
