Hey I'm from the New Orleans area. Looking at getting a SRT10 RC.
The ones I find around my area are clean but have pretty high mileage around 90K. Been researching as much as I could. What should I look out for? Or what should I plan to replace soon if I get one with that mileage?

Welcome to the VTCoA! I would want maintenance records for a vehicle like this. If maintenance hasn't been done, run away. Oil cooler lines leak, power steering lines leak, oil changes are expensive, tires are expensive, brakes are expensive, but it is the most fun you can have in a pickup truck!
 
Welcome to the Forum.

Don't be afraid to drive a distance to find a better truck with lower mileage. If you are going to keep it then you want to look around and find a good one to start with. Then you will still have to do the things that Andy mentioned if they have not already been done...
 
Greetings from Mississippi neighbor, my truck came from Idaho, but it was exactly what I wanted. I found it on this website actually, so keep looking and don't rush into anything.
 
Welcome from Phoenix, Arizona. Shop, shop & shop some more. You only go with high mileage if you can't find anything else, then you want all maint. records. You don't want to buy someone else's problems. After all there is a reason they are selling it. I have 110,000 on my '06, but those miles are mine & I know it's been maintained. Good Luck.
 
So I have been looking for awhile. On a budget so looking for good deal. Was able to bargain a 2006 RC SRT with 136K miles with rebuilt tranny down to 13900. What do you guys think?
 
It's a good deal in my eyes it's not the mileage that kills the vehicle it's the owner that mistreates the vehicle that kills it. If it looks great sounds great these truck seem to be some good strong reliable trucks I love mine bought it when it had 100,000 and it's still kicking strong.
 
Thanks, best deal so far I got. Gonna check it out later this week. The other deal I was able to get was a 2004 RC SRT with 98K miles for 17k. (older gentleman owner in his 60s).
I have been looking at the 2006 RC SRT for a long time as it was listed for a long time. Asking price was much higher but with no buyers for quite sometime, the buyer seems motivated to sell now, hence the lower price.
 
Hey , I've got an '04 reg cab with 15000 miles on it I've been thinking about selling. Truck is mint. Has only very few mods... Hard cover , magnaflow cat-back with rear cat delete, jtsvp stage ll clutch and aluminum flywheel with a b&m short throw shifter. $32000 Canadian but a bargain in U.S. Funds with current exchange rate

Lafourche parish here. The sport truck market sucked in 08 when i was shopping. It still sucks. Look online and drive/fly to get it. My truck was 12 hours away.
