NR #327 has been resurrected and here's the final shots on the exterior:

i want honest opinions on my choices - no hard feelings...

i'm torn as i planned to black out the tails and 3rd brake light but after seeing it, maybe it needs some color? not sure on that yet...

i'll get some shots of the motor tomorrow... did some powdercoating in the engine bay, as well

they're just ugly because they're 06's?

the park lights are on - are they throwing you for a loop? they're OEM, too...

a.) i'm the first person to tell someone if you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else says. in this case, i'm not sure i like it like i thought i would - the concept, yes - the execution - not so much. but in the pics, you can't see what i can (i feel like the metallic in the truck and the metallic in the bronze clash, but maybe i'm just weird).

b.) i'm kyleIII (heir of andy)... everything's for sale

c.) (side note) i don't like the 06's at all........ sooooo... i don't see it being here long - but that wasn't my original intent... this time...

There are things I don't like about 06's as well. At the same time there are a few likes also. I will say the 06's seem more "sluggish " than 04-05's..

I am biased cause I am a big 06 fan.... I think it looks great!.. Just a few personal tweaks could make you happy..... look at Oldcolts truck

I'm a big 06 fan too. I think the 04-05 interior is too simple. And the headlights are not good looking at all. But of course everyone has their own opinion on this.

I wouldn't call my 06 "sluggish"!!

Dan, I like the bronze wheels, but your right, the metal flake in the black paint might clash a bit. The wheels would look killer on a slow red truck though!

I like the shape of the 06 headlights but those lights are just butt ugly. Don't care for the gas cap door color. And those mirrors....oh my eyes! my poor eyes!! :rock:

On mine the wing was removed within 24hrs of getting it home 11 yrs ago and the mirrors quickly thereafter.

The pics really do skew the color a bit. And on cloudy days (those of you with brilliant black trucks can see) it almost looks solid black. The same happens on the wheels...

The gas cap is the same color as the wheels.
And I was torn on that too. I thought originally I'd paint it PXR along with the handles but I thought it should stand out more like the silver originally did (which didn't bother me)
Whatever I choose on the wheels will be the same color as the valve covers, as well...
I should finish a couple things today and have the engine bay pics up later this afternoon...

Basically I need an adult at all times... And where are my pants?

i like it, including the fuel door (did mine to match the wheels also), but i have always hated the headlights on the 06s, haven't seen the interiors side by side though.

so that work truck i bought...
