My Viper Build *Pic Heavy*

Wouldn't mine racing you in my 98

I'm only pushing around 11-12 psi. More show than go, and I don't even do that well. I wont ever own much in life that is as awesome as yours. I will humbly decline and confess that all your vehicles are better than everyone else's.

Was just asking for a simple race. I push less boost then that.
All show no go? Have you been hanging out with midnight runner?
Maybe I'll catch you At an event and we can run them or something.
I'm sorry your mad at the world. Just because you are special doesn't mean we dislike you Jeffrey
Happy new year Jeff.

Any update? How's the car holding up/performing?

What stuff did you use to buff out the head light , Tia.

I was able to gain 155 peak hp and 198 hp at 5700 rpm over a mailorder base tune after fixing some belt slip, installing meth and a day on the dyno. Torrie McPhail prevailed! 754whp 740 wtq. Could have added some timing, but stopped there for my daily driver... in case the meth runs out on a cross country cruise.

How many miles have you put on the car since it's been boosted? Still on stock internals correct? Being completely honest, how hard are you on the car? I'm still debating if I want to boost my car on stock internals.....

14k miles last year, being down for 3 months. I'm hell on it. It was 6psi up until january. Now its 13psi. Buy a Paxton "tuner" kit. Upgrade the heat exchanger and water pump for cooler IAT. Put a DLM tensioner assist rod to prevent belt slip. Upgrade the BOV. Install a custom fuel system....Pump, injectors, MAP and SCT tuning and drive it until the wheels fall off. That is the way I had it. I wish I kept mine at 6psi, so I could drive with confidence. Now it is just violent acceleration and I'm always paranoid of grenading a piston, trans or rear. The only thing I fear more is the thing constantly trying to kill me, breaking traction no matter what gear im in, until I let off it.

This whole statement sounds awesome!

13 psi on a stock engine? Your brave man. And the engines days are numbered.

Viper can actually handle more boost and power than our trucks. Not because motor is better but because car weighs 2k less and puts alot less stress on it.

Are you going to put a hardtop on it?

And where's the lower fascia aero?

The splitter is coming! I wasn't ready to buy the carbon fiber ACR-X canards, but there was a deal I couldn't pass up. The same company will let me know soon when one is available. It will go on with the GEN 4 style hood with larger vents and scoop. However, I haven't seen a hard top that looked right to me. A full on coupe conversion isn't in the budget.

No doubt a coupe conversion isn't worth it.

Is it Autoform? Something about the vert with aero just messes with my mind...

(Here I am critiquing somebody else's Viper that I don't own lol)

Did you have to make your plug wires to custom lengths or were you able to use a prefab set? I like the way yours are run. And the whole green and black scheme is cool as hell.

Almost finished with the interior. Lloyds floor mats, new head unit, Gen 5 steering wheel, upholstered doors and gloss black rear bulkhead, harnesses and I think I'll be done in here.

A few more of the blow-off valve relocation in the engine bay and the brake powdercoating.
