Someone asked awhile back about pics of the install and I never got back to them. Can't find the thread now so here is one. I can take a different view if someone is interested although it is hard to get under the truck now that it is lowered

How are these mounted? Cuz they look much different than the Caltracs set up.

They appear to sit crazy low to the ground, have you had any issues with hitting while driving?

Mine were on for years without scraping other than one time on a culvert backing out of ArrestMeRed's driveway and he did the same on caltracs, lol. I do recommend removing slapper bar though. It brings rear of bars about another inch off the ground. Many use them with slapper bar in place though.

They're totally different than Caltracs that why I designed them. They go further up the front of the frame to help lift the front end while planting the rear tires. No leaf spring bushing mods needed ;)

Damn it. :( I wish I knew about them before I bought the Caltracs.

Scott do you have a website where I can see everything you sell? Kind of like Tony's store?

Front bolts to the frame right behind the section weld, approximately just left of the center of the window, well, on my truck anyway

now I know why yours looked higher off the ground. Haven't looked into removing the slapper bars, knowing my luck the truck will be down 5 mnths again

I removed the slappers off mine, I think it made about a half inch difference.

I have scraped them some, but they work like a champ. My truck grips hard with street tires and I still have the front sway bar.

Hey Scott, I looked around, but failed to find a webpage. You got one? Looking to shop for some lowering and traction parts.

You have to pm or email Scott, it listed here somewhere

If you're asking me about lowering, 2/3, Scott's kit.

Zilla still spins the tires at will in 1st and 2nd, sometimes 3rd if they are exyra warm. Tread is pretty thin though, when I get new tires I'm hoping for more of a " squat and go" instead of "spin and watch them go"

Don't know if I will ever be able to switch to DRs, I would run them all year

I mean, I can make mine spin if I want but since the bars have been installed I can roll into 1st girl and be full throttle by the time I'm ready to shift to 2nd with very minimal spinning.

Now if I put my foot to the floor right off the bat, yeah it's a smoke show. Fun but not effective.

That was with my stock 22s, I have now have 16s on the rear wth a Hoosier pro street tire. The pro street tire isn't a drag radial by any means, it acts about the same as my stock wheels. I haven't tried to burnout of them and warm them up either though. I mainly wanted some lighter wheels and that fat tire look on the truck. I do have a set of slicks, but I tend to drive pretty fast on the interstate so a set of wrinkle wall slicks probably isn't the best thing.
