Weaker gas shocks

I know this has been covered once before, but I can't find the thread, and it was like a 5 year old post, so perhaps there is some better options out there now.

I have the carbon fiber VIS racing SRT10 style hood, with the stock shocks it just lefts the back too much and causes a gap between the hood and fender.

What options are there?

LOL. That's what I was thinking. I had my old ones in the garage till about a month ago when I finally tossed them because I couldn't find a second use for them.

go to High Quality Automotive | Marine | Industrial Lift Supports and talk with them directly. I had a similar situation with a Nissan. They simply cross referenced the compressed and extended length to a lighter weight application.
