The Reaper QC build thread

Do you plan on keeping it an auto or will you do the 6 speed conversion later?

Got most of the rear end finished up, I plan to run the rear sway bar facing the rear so I can run my Jlt super 60 drag bars. On the Rc the rear end the axle mounts made contact with the sway bar

I went with this design, because mounts get welded to the axle housing eliminating the flexing of the leaf spring if you run them on the bottom of the leaf spring pack. The qc's suffer more than the Rc's due to less leaf springs, thus the reason I'm running a rc rear end set up.

Love the truck and how it's coming out dam I just got inspired to start putting some more parts In my qc. Spend spend spend

That front stance along with the matte hood/grill is sick Jay! She's going to be a head turner for sure.

thanks bro, but I don't think the red is here to stay. After i get the suspension straight, the 6 speed is next, then its all over but the prep work

You paint yourself? I've always wanted to do an olive drab matte green. That gray is gonna look tough with the body lines!

Sway Bar

Thanks Badsnake will check those out. Have you noticed an improvement in corner handling?

waaw , great build !

does it hit the front with that low stance to the inner fender ?
mine has the springs from JTSV , but still hit when i go in deaper dents and traffic bumps...

are the wheels 22" or 24" ?
tyre-size ?

It hasn't hit yet, but I haven't gotten an alignment yet, plus I need to trim the inner fender liner so it doesn't make contact with MMW uca mounts.

my wheels are 22's the fronts are 11" wide with a 295/30/22

I got most of the suspension stuff done minus the drag bar mounts welded on. Got the rear section of the frame all cleaned up and painted.

I noticed when I put the bed back on I may need to notch a section of the bed frame that is right above the rear end shock. It looks like I only have about 2mm clearance. I'll knock that out when I remove the bed to paint it.
