I have in the garage an 04 rc with Paxton sc. Been on a few months. Decided to purchase after reading a few 100 posts on here. Great site. Great info. I do have one question. When I stored the vehicle, for a friend of a friend, he was telling me a few hp numbers. He also mentioned that the following was done also. The intake was plained, the manifolds were opened up and has the cat delete. It also has a larger heat exchanger in front of the stock radiator. I swear he told me it made 800 hp. All documents were stored in his garage that burnt down. I bought because it runs and sounds great and I always wanted one. In your professional opinions, what do you all think the hp is at? I'm gonna dyno in the spring, just jonesing for an estimate. Thanks all Chuck Wagon

Welcome to the VTCoA! 800hp is high for a Paxton, it probably makes more in the neighborhood of 675ish crank hp.

Does it or did it have NOS

Then I second the opinion the HP numbers were exaggerated

Thanks. It's still a Baad truck. Can't wait for the warm weather.. Lol

Welcome

If your truck is silver then it definitely can be around the 800 mark :D

Welcome from the San Francisco Bay. Where it never snows and you can drive your toy year round. :D

Welcome from Illinois!

Whereabouts are you? We have an informal Chicagoland "local chapter" always looking for more 10's

Don't tempt me, I'm looking to relocate soon as I can anyway. Got any good Harley dealers in your area? Had a buddy from boot camp that was stationed in San Diego for a few years. He loved it except for being that far away from home. Met another cool dude at H-D school in Millwalkie. Think he worked at Dorn H-D (Bay Area) but I believe the store closed or changed hands.

We have several Harley dealers in the bay. There is one about 15 minutes from my house that's been there since I can remember. So yes, I will tempt you. ;)

I'll look into it. Definitely made up my mind that I'm sick of freezing my ass off. Looking for something more full time year round work. Around here that bike shops either lay you off or cut your hours.
