05 QC, my sunroof started acting up, all the functions work but it seems like it lost memory for the closed position. Instead of just closing it will cycle right past the closing position and then pop up again and continue to do this 6-7 times before it will finally stop about 1 inch open.
The buttons were all one touch automatic function but now you have to hold them down for the sunroof to move.
I thought it was all factory, it certainly looks factory, so I took it to Dodge to have them scan it and see if it could be recalibrated. They said it is NOT a factory sunroof, it's aftermarket.
I did find a manufacturer name on a part that says inalfa.
It seems Inalfa is a huge company that deals direct with major manufacturers and it says right on their site they're partnered with Dodge. I figured the they just pulled a certain amount of trucks off the assembly line and had this outside company install the sunroof. So essentially it should be considered a factory sunroof.
Or is there actually a sunroof made in house by Dodge for the truck and I really do have an aftermarket sunroof?
I don't see where this Inalfa company even sells retail so I don't know what to do then.
