Has anyone had good luck getting Collectors insurance?
Grundy will only insure for $20K, with a signed youthful driver exclusion.

A couple others won't insure me due to either a driver under 21 in the household even though he spends very little time here. (He's in college 4 hours away, just lives here in the summer) or they don't include SRT-10's

Where should I try? I live in GA.

I have not, sorry I can't help you on this.

Have you tried Hagerty?
I looked into it awhile ago, but they wanted a second car listed for a daily. I have a car provided from work, but that couldn't be counted.

I did, They won't insure me because my wife has a 19 yr old who does not have a car.
Even though he is only with us over the summer. This is his mailing address.

Well crap, guess you have to kick the kid out :hmmmm:

Try Heacock Classic I use them for my 85 Z28 much better customer service then the others you mentioned. I have used Hagerty before also

I have collectors insurance up in Canada, I'm paying under $400 for the year but am limited to the amount of kms I can drive for the year

I have Grundy for 25k with no drivers under 25

Did you tell them your son got his license?

It's usually that way with any insurance. Once they sign you up they never ask a question ever again. I know guys who have a bucket of tickets, even a DUI. Insurance didn't change because he didn't tell them and they didn't ask/

It's just getting established that is the hard part.

I just got a quote from Geico, agreed value 35,000 for 475.00 a year. I did switch my daily drivers over so it could be a little more but it's a place to start.

Here in Belgium i got insurance for value of 37K Euro.
I pay 900 Euros / year

insurance include firedamage , stormdamage , glassdamage (windows) , theft.
