Hoping to find someone that would have an axle damper bracket laying around for whatever reason. I have talked to the dealership and they are even having problems finding a part number and I have searched the Internet with no luck also. I just need the bracket that bolts to the differential that holds the linear shock in place. Don't ask what happened to mine cause I don't even have a clue. Just noticed a couple days ago that it apparently didn't come with the purchase of the truck so my linear shock is just hanging above my differential. SMH[IMG]

First thing: stop contacting your dealer for parts. They won't be able to find them and don't really care enough to look. There are several people on this forum who are very knowledgeable about all thing SRT10 and can get you what you need. Both TheMoparConnection and VPRPWRD work at dealerships and can find parts that most other dealers can't. Tony at JTSVP is probably a great resource for you as well.

I completely agree with you there and ive had the truck long enough now that the things it "should" have came with is not even worth going through that hassle. I will just fix them myself like I have been doing.

Well for anyone's future reference, I actually FINALLY came across the Mopar part number for this particular item and I've been searching for this for about 3 days now.

    Diff cover bracket (1) 05137580AA
    Diff cover bracket bolts (2)
    05137581AA

Well if anyone has an extra that they would want to get rid of then let me know but in a few days I will probably just order it from Mopar for their $5 price tag. Sorry in advance for this being a dead thread but at least there were some part numbers that came out of it for anyones reference. [emoji3]

Just ran into this thread. Does anyone have one available or know if this can work or be made to work for a quad cab?

It can be made to work for the QC, and any decent fabricator can build you one.

If you get a shock, the rear end brkt., I have the other brkt needed. To make it work.. has to be welded on

Thanks guys. Before I take you up on that generous offer though, I must ask... Is the RC rear end better than the QC's by enough to make a big difference? I've been eyeing a RC rear end that is fully dressed with the leafsprings and shocks already which I like cuz it will lower the rear to be level, but the gear ratios is what really calls my attention.

The rear ends are identical in RC and QC. The 04 have a 4.10 05 and 06 have the 4.56. Only difference between the 2 are the spring perch pads. If using a Rc leaf spring you will need lowering blocks to drop the truck. Truck will be extremely stiffer also.

    Rear end shock bracket

    Hi bmxam962,
I am new to this and new to the truck. Just purchased in September and with it being a quad cab, I would like to install the rear end kicker shock. I finally found the part numbers for the bracket and bolts for the rear end, I have a shock, but still need the weld on bracket for the frame. I hope this is the way to get ahold of you. I was wondering if you still had the frame weld on bracket available or know where to get it. Also I have not purchased the rear end bracket so if you have that as well???? Please let me know or steer me in the right direction. Thank you very much and Happy New Year!

Awesome! I actually wanted to get a hold of you for a month now about a few things but I don't have a Facebook so this morning I decided to try to give being a member a try. Have no idea how to navigate the site yet but I got a hold of you! Like I said I just purchased an 05 QC with 60k for 20k. Hope that's a fair price. Love the truck. I have a lift and shop at home and noticed this truck is missing the rear sway bar and kicker shock. I do feel the chatter from the rear as it's trying to grip so I would like to put in the kicker shock and rear sway bar. I also need oil cooler lines, power steering pump and my SERP belt won't stop making noise. Put a new belt on, OK for a few days then comes back. Any ideas? First the kicker shock. I purchased a set of used OEM shocks and kicker shock from a guy on e bay for 100.00 and are in beautiful shape. I just ordered the kicker shock bracket for the rear end and all bolts. This was the last bracket in inventory for the whole us so I had to get it. Now I'm left with needing a bracket to weld onto the frame for the other end of the kicker shock and then tackle the sway bar. Any ideas for the oil cooler lines? Something I can make with A/N without spending 250.00 but is better than the stock ones? Any other performance/tranny suggestions? Sorry for throwing all of this at you at once and I greatly appreciate your time and efforts

The QC's didn't come with a rear sway bar or axle damper from the lines.
