Hey guys. So ive been at it again with some shinanigans... looking at getting a bump steer kit my self. I get really good discounts on McMaster Carr cus of work so i can easily get all the stuff i need from there. Question is... do you guys see any issues using these for the end links? I guess the only thing that i am not sure of is if there will be enough swivel?...
i also need to know:
What is the threads specs?
What is I.D for the end link swivel?
Type/spec for bolt/Pin?

I would have to take it off and measure it. It s company that sells them. I won't mention there name because they are not a vendor but feel free to pm me

Has anyone had any luck with a bump steer kit? There is one on the truck I bought from Frank and I'm getting ready to take it off. When you hit a bump, the truck gets a little unstable. Not anything crazy, but not a good feeling either

Really? my co-worker (Mechanical Engineer and Gear head) say not dare run the bump steer kits mainly because of the Heim Joint being exposed to the elements and will not last as long as a typical Boot covered joint. Hes a really knowledgeable guy but im not to sure. Getting mixed feelings now lol:dontknow::confused:

Well, it sounds like your co-worker and I are on the same page. Mine's getting ready to come off

Yea you post had me thinking about that setup bmx man is running, but after quite a bit of research it's not for me. I'm going to just accept the fact it's a truck and not a sports car. Last thing I want is a noisy failing heim joint.

Good find, I herd that the stock tie rod hits the control arm when you mount it underneath.

Sinus19 are you having issues with your truck? Is it lowered? I bought mine lowered and everytime i hit a bump the wheel would jerk did not like the feeling. The problem was the truck had the stock bump stops so i cut them off and replaced them with different ones made a huge difference
