Getting ready to install a nitrous kit soon. Looking for bottle installation ideas. Not a big fan of drilling holes in the bed. Plus don't have a cover right now. For those that have installed it in the cab, how'd you run the line inside?

You're going to have to run through either cab floor or bed floor. Firewall
Isn't a great idea as you don't want length of line running through cab in case of rupture.
You should also run a blow down tube off rupture disc out of truck.

Hey scott. Any tips on running the line in the cab, without drilling holes? And same for the blow down tube?

Run the lines out the window! :burnout::pepsi:

You can mount it under the driver seat, on the outside of the cab. This way you don't need a blow down tube. You will have to put some holes in the floor board but the carpet will cover them if you every remove it, I just used 1/4' bolts with some large fender washers. It makes a short run for the Nx hose and keeps the bottle out of sight if your trying to be sneaky. It also keeps the bottle nice and warm.

My old bracket is still on mine, ill post some picture later.

...just an idea for you.

Steve, call Chris P and see how he did his in the CE. His was mounted behind the passenger seat.

Chris Paris' nitrous was run from the back of the seat under the console and into the engine bay through an existing hole near the brake booster. From there it was run along the top of the firewall inside the plastic cable channel and under the spare battery tray to the intake. The line was rather long and I think he had to notch the center console in one spot. His did not have the blow off tubes installed either. Hope this helps.

That's what I thought. I was just curious how he ran the line into the truck

Looks good to me. I'm assuming your truck isn't street legal though, right?

He's running our heated bottle racket. Hose goes through floor Santeen. Drill it and quit being a Puto Cubano

What type of brackets did you use. Also, how'd you get the nitrous line into the cab?

Made my own bracket, there was a hole i was able to snake it through under the package tray. Ill try to crawl under tomorrow and take a pic.

Sure wish I could have mounted in the cab like ArrestmeRed. But there's just no room left. Well,
:dontknow:unless the passenger wouldn't mind propping their digits up on the bottles. But then it'll be like, "knees up, toes down while you muthaf*ckas bounce to this."
