Bump... Any updates? Seems like a lot of people have some mean builds going on but has anybody been tearing up the tracks? This place used to be filled with people excited about posting their new pr's, now we all post about new television shows.... We're getting soft... Where are all you southern boys, AZ in particular. Isn't it a great time of year for you guys to be running in some beneficial temperatures...?

My build will be finished in a week or 2 and once it warms I'll get to the track. I just got these so traction should be ok

Hot damn! That's the type of update I was looking for! Please take video!!! What are you shooting for realistically? And what exactly are those? Size? What did you do to the rear brakes?

They are on there way to me at the moment. CCW 16X10. Rear brakes have not been modded
So how are they going to fit? Shaving? Did you find a different caliper to use?

Last time we met up with Trainman he was waiting on some parts for his build. He was busy with a few things one of which was a bad ass 99 Firehawk.
Actually the truck has been running, just having tuning issues. Chris Jensen has been super busy with his job at Porsche, hopefully get some time for me soon. The Firehawk is actually a 2000 ( 434 inch LS1, Harrop Hurricane intake, 700 hp NA at the flywheel, 6-speed of course). And I am having issues with the CTSV with street tuning. Truck dynoed 729 on a dynapack, but street driving is a REAL PAIN , working on that. CTSV has a 416 cu inch, Trick Flow heads and ported blower by Greg Good. Made 760 rwhp on 91, and 818 on C85. Made 1 pass and blew a head gasket, Trainman has had a rough time this last 6 months.....moving to a new house, SRT-10, CTSV, Firehawk and of course my dream of acquiring the live steam Hudson Locomotive for my train collection.....I need a break...and something to go right (although, the house and train are perfect!)
