RAM World Record

From the ad: We want to break the recently established in the United States record of "largest RAM Pickup Parade" ( "largest parade of pickup trucks') - and this in the middle of Germany! To this end, all RAM Pickup drivers and owners from all over Europe are invited to participate in the world record attempt. With the RAM, no distance is too far! We meet on 5 November 2016 a pickup Meeting, as there may have never been in this type in Europe and worldwide.

We are looking for: (Dodge) RAM pickups! Model, year, engine capacity or type of fuel does not matter Campertops and further renovations and additions are allowed, the basic vehicle must simply be a RAM Pickup. Special models such SRT10, Rumble Bee, R / T, etc. are of course allowed! Well over a thousand RAM pickup drivers have to call our already registered. You want to be part of a Guinness World Records â„¢ world record attempt? Then meeting was on 05.11.2016 while the largest RAM Pickup!

Register to the same menu item on the right under "Register" and join in! All registered participants will automatically receive our newsletter with important information and current news about the world record attempt.

All news about World Record will be published in the News Category.

We wish you a good trip and see us at the Nürburgring!

Challenge accepted

We are not short of Ram pickup trucks here in Alberta!!

I will not participate as it gets cold and slippery on the roads and i would have to go 400 miles one way just to attend.

All i can say is, it took the organizers 1 year and a hell of work to :

- get RAM owners informed and motivated
- get a location to arrange it
- get police involved to arrange Traffic during that event
- get sponsors
- get the Guiness Book officials involved
- + all arrangements to keep such a big crowd happy.

@ Scott its not about the no. of trucks in your state, its about keeping them motivated to Show up. Just remember your SRT10 GTG's. Its not a one time Post on Facebook or in this forum its a tough / Full time Job to handle such a big event.

So, my highest respect for the guys arranging this Event and looking forward to read about it in the Guiness book

I agree Arne and not taking credit away where it's due man. Just saying us Americans will take that record back should it be beat. I've organized many great GTGs but yessir they've kinda fallen off the map lately. Like you say, keeping everyone involved and eager to attend is tough. Look forward to pictures.
