So I have searched and I know factory offset is
10" wide with a +25mm offset which equals 6.5" of backspace.

I would like to know what the MINIMUM offset would be to clear the front brakes or does it just depend on the overall style of the wheel?

I also read that normal 20" 1500 ram wheels would fit and I have some but they definitely do NOT clear the calipers to fit.

I know the brakes changed, so maybe they fit the 04's, but they do not fit my 05 QC.

also has anyone run a 9" wheel ok on the front?
trying to step down to 20" and most of what I see are 9" wheels in a 20.

Factory 20 should clear the front brakes no mater what year, he'll your factory spare is a 20
