Has anyone tried to see if a roll up cover that mounts inside the bed rails will fit under the factory wing? I'd love to have a cover, but don't wanna fork out the cash for the hard cover with the factory wing.

If I recall coreectly, someone has a retrax, but had to trim the side rails around the wind.

I'm looking for one as well with no luck yet. I did see one for sale that had the retrax cover but those things are like $1200. I want like a $300 soft cover.

I recently bought an IONIC brand roll-up cover for my 2011 Ram half ton. The truck came with chrome tie-down rails on top of the bed rails. I wanted to keep the rails so I tried the IONIC brand because the description stated that it fit inside the bed rails and would give you access to the holes on top of the bed with the cover down. Its works great! I immediately looked over at the Viper and thought I could do the same thing. My Viper does not currently have a wing because I would like to have a wing and cover both. I would love to know If this cover would work!

I would think one of the inside rail mount covers will fit with the wing. Which is what I want as well. Just need the room under the wing to unclip and roll it up. If you find one that works post it up and share cause I want one as well.

No Problem!
I have a retractable roll up cover with the side rails notched for the SRT-10 or the Daytona wing. It is a Retrax model DSRT10. It is brand new in the box if you are interested. I also have a Lazerlite aluminum cover that I had on the truck for about five years. They are both black. PM me if interested. I live in Middleburg, Florida.

I have the Retrax. When closed the unlatch lever is under the wing so you have to push button while lifting lever with fingernails. If not carefull the lever scratches the bottom of the wing. No way to lock the cover as not enough room to put key in because of wing. I like the cover because I can have it half shut at the track to keep the sun off the nitrous bottles.
